My next mod is figuring how to secure a 33.5" spare in the CM bed. It won't mount below where the OEM spare is. Thoughts? I thought I saw a bed spare tire mount recently in a post but can't remember where.

NFAB I think- a must do.

    That's where mine is
Why don't you wanna go there?

There is a company I saw that mounted vertically to the accessory rails. It looked fairly solid but it eliminates the ability to use a toneau. I think @LibertySand came up with a vertical mount for his. I think it was him. Go find his build thread

For a short time I had mine vertical but strapped in. It was temporary. I have a cargo basket that I put on my @KB Voodoo cross bars that I put on when I'm going big off road and am not carrying a bed rack or RTT

My plan is to get a KB voodoo cross bed rack w/ a basket and carry my spare that way. You can fit a 33.5 under your bed, y'know? Or is it more of a want in this case?

    Did someone say my name?
Yes. I originally mounted the Spare vertically onto the rail, then stepped the game up and made a full blown rack for the Spare and Cargo.

This was how I dealt with it....

a 33.5" should have no problem fitting under the bed.

he doesn't want it under the bed because it's a matching wheel that he doesn't want damaged. Makes sense to me

How do you damage a wheel under the bed? :notsure: The face side of the wheel goes up. I honestly think there's a higher chance of damaging the wheel in the bed.

Thanks Joon, I will have to see. I hope you are right! DCT said wheels should arrive Mon or Tues. With Irma rolling on Mon, I expect a delay in delivery. No biggie. All good.

I wanted the Warlord's bad but thought black would look best with my Quicksand. So I bought the BR Revolution. Don't love the look but they work.
