For those of you that carry an oversized spare when wheelin', where do you "hide" it since it doesn't fit underneath?

OR, if you have modified to make it fit underneath then show that too. I'm on 35's and would love some ideas without going the TOO terribly expensive route.

Also, for those of you that dropped more than few dimes, let's see that set up too.

    Just getting started
Wow that's supper close to the shackles, is it that tight on the other side as well?

I was thinking about getting a full size (same as yours) but don't think it will fit with CB shackles.

Did you have to make it fit?
    Found it. Thank you sir.

I'd really like a 5th 35 to do a 5 tire rotation but don't want to fork over the extra $$ on a 5th rim. I'm probably gonna do the smaller tire. Shit, it's just a spare, right?

It looks like you've got less than 1/2 inch to the shackle. At least in the picture it looks like that. Any chance that shackle would hit the tire if the back end twists on some rocks?

There's a little more space on the other side. Definitely a tight fit but it does clear everything. CB shackles would definitely rub in this size. That was one of the reasons I got the Toytec shackles.

Since I don't have my truck and can't look, help me remember...with the standard BOSS 2.0 setup, shackles don't come with, right? If not, what would factory setup look like on a '17 DC (not a PRO)?

You should either have the shackles or blocks on the rear.

I sound like an amateur (because I am) but I can't remember what's under there at this moment. Pretty sure it's shackles.

When you ordered, you had an option to replace the rear blocks with shackles for additional $40 or something like that.

My tires are 34.5". Most 35's are about the same size. Should fit the same. There's also a bracket that holds the tire in. If you remove it, you can move it forward just a bit. That should be enough to fit any 35.

Wheel size doesn't matter. Mines 9" wide too so won't make a difference.

Well, if you have a matching spare, you can do a 5 tire rotation... so at least your tires will last longer. Only thing you're really paying more for is the wheel and TPMS. My wheel and TPMS was an extra $200.

37" I have in the bed with tie-downs and locking system. Can move out of the way if needed and tied down tight enough for off-road use to. Placed it in the front passenger side of the bed for best weight distribution.
