Got the bed stiffeners on with new stainless steel bolts and nuts. Had to peel the factory Bedliner off the bed bolts. That exposed a ring of metal bed so I put a bead of silicone underneath the bolts.

So my bumper is touching my fenders again. The fiberglass is much harder and more rigid than the plastic stock piece that’s there so it rattles like crazy on bumps.
    F796A365-91E8-4358-9F97-BDEAE5D93DEE.jpg

    Caused the glass to chip.
    15CAF314-C7E7-4871-9D6E-2C055A58ED4C.jpg

So I burred out all 8 holes and dropped the bumper about a half inch. It’ll still rub a little when I fully flex crawling but at least it won’t rattle driving down some washboards.

And the bottom mount that mounts to the cross member is completely bent. Somehow did that in the accident.
    6CB93091-4515-4430-B4A3-4F1985BBC800.jpg

    Should look like this.
    9DBAEE84-8D1E-48D7-9921-E6057A6216C5.jpg

Probably could’ve straightened it out but I think it would’ve weakened the weld too much. So I just cut it off. I’ll just weld on a new piece after the suspension is done and I can get my skids back on.

Finished up the bumper today. Filled in the giant hole for the bolts so when I take a hit on the bumper, it won’t shift back up.

Ceramic tint 50% on front and 5% on the windshield strip. Contemplated going a little darker this time but would rather be able to see out the sides on night runs.

    Pro Grille

    BB389646-7BB2-4C99-B077-93B3ACEE255D.jpg

I really didn’t want to relocate the TSS Sensor so I originally replaced the Limited grille with a honeycomb. But damn, I just couldn’t take it anymore. That honeycomb grille is just plain ugly. So I bought an AJT relocation mount and put my old Pro grille back on. This is definitely the best looking Tundra grille ever made.

Got my date set to take my truck to AZ to get built. Leaving on Valentine’s Day. Long romantic drive with just me and my truck. Well I have to take five 37” wheels and my glass bedsides and all of that isn’t fitting in the bed. Plus I have to take all my camping gear for T2S on this trip to leave at @Vizsla ’s house. So I removed the back seats and threw in two of the 37’s in there.

And last thing was removing the rear bumper corners. Kind of wanted to see if I could keep the BSM when I have the new rear bumper built. But that sensor box is humungoid and I don’t think it’s gonna happen. I think the only chance I have is mounting the sensors behind the glass bedsides somehow but it might not be able to sense through the glass.

I knew all along the Chiefs would come back. I hate betting against the Niners but I've been watching the Niners do this exact same thing all year long. Take a 10-14 point lead, let off the gas and try to hold on to the lead. Might work against some teams but not against Mahomes.

The LSK kits are good systems. Have a few friends running them on their 5.7 tundras. Also I just shipped 5.7 motor mounts to Kyle Green Fab for @Vizsla truck, believe they've already installed them and are doing the coil bucket brace too.
