    Too much damn snow!
    A5EBE190-5D19-4857-AE90-823C544E0B6F.jpg

We ran into a local guy and he said the snow was 5 feet high, deeper into the trail and was impassable. :frusty: We had no cell service and had to meet the other group at Cleghorn so we turned around.

So we got back on pavement and drove all the way around the mountain. Got to a few miles from Cleghorn and the damn highway was closed. :facepalm:So we pulled out the grill and cooked up some tacos on the side of the highway. Literally, on the shoulder of the highway. :hungry:AC77E339-E643-4E45-B445-F10116EF7F14.jpg

The other group got there as we were eating and we all drove back down the mountain and found a great camp site and we all got drunk. It was my buddy Presley’s burfday and farewell trip so it was more about hanging out than wheeling anyways. So we never actually got to Cleghorn but we still had a blast.

Thank you. I need to get some Durobumps soon. I think I'm losing a little up travel with the Superbumps. Only problem is I broke one of the welded nuts for the bumps and had a hellava time getting it on. Not even sure I can get the superbump back off. If I can, I'll be making the swap.

btw, that sign that says KEEP OUT? Yeah they're serious about that. They will definitely drop bombs 10' in front of your truck. Ask me how I know...

Haha, that was awesome, except for the minute or two where we thought we were gonna die. Good times.

@joonbug , looks like you covered the park top-to-bottom. Well done. I hope it wasn't too hot.

We covered a good chunk but still have so much more to explore. Gotta go back again, maybe after summer. I think we got it in before it got really hot.

Well, it was in the low 90's. Just low enough to be tolerable. But nights were nice and the best thing is waking up and wearing shorts and a t-shirt. Freezing mornings are the worst.
