Had to redo my alignment to get my wheel away from the cab mount. It was still rubbing in reverse after a CMC. Moved the wheel forward using just the lower adjustments without having to remove the uppers to re-adjust. First time getting higher caster on the passenger side too. Ever. But I still have a slight pull to the right. Definitely better than before though. And the overall higher caster is a HUGE difference on dirt. The severe bump steer is completely gone. Almost broke a couple fingers when caster was at about 3. Just need to finish the CMC on the driver’s side now.

.5* is the most I’m willing to split the caster. The pull to the right is much less than it used to be. I can live with a slight pull.

    See fine print
If you haven’t swapped wheels from left to right try that first. Your old alignment may have messed up your tire wear.

My truck has always pulled to the right. Ever since I lifted it. Tires don’t matter. New, old, flat, still pulls to the right. But it did get a lot better with this alignment. I’m actually pretty happy with it compared to before.

    Cab Mount Chop

Finished up the CMC today. Did the passenger side a few weeks ago but was still rubbing. So after Mojave I redid my alignment and moved the wheels forward. So I finished up the driver’s side today.

    Passenger side

On the driver’s side, I cut the plate in half to lessen the angle and got even closer to the cab mount. Pain in the ass to make the second piece fit right, but got it pretty nice after a bunch of grinding and fitting. Got almost an inch of clearance now.

So the Victory LCA skid rubbed my wheel pretty good. Sanded the wheel down and hit it with some paint.

Then chopped the corners off both skids and hit it with some paint. The other side rubbed a tiny bit too.

And my lease ended so went in yesterday and paid off the truck. Apparently you become the second owner when you buy out the lease. WTF?

Then last night I went to a friend’s house and drove his Bentley Continental GT. One of the prettiest cars ever made but wasn’t too impressed with the quality. I lowered the visor and the little metal piece that covers where it attaches to ceiling fell off. :D It looked like it was glued on. Then when I was getting out the car, one of the seat adjustment knobs on the side of the seat fell off. I think I hit it with my leg. My buddy was getting pissed like I was breaking everything I touched. Other than that, it drove nice, lots of power, and I really liked the metal paddle shifters. Suspension could’ve been a little firmer. But I wouldn’t pay $240K for it though. I’ll stick to my Tundra.

Finally found a spot to mount the Switchpro. Only took about a year. Unfortunately, the Brake Controller’s gotta go. One thing I don’t do is electrical installs, so @dcsleeper408 will have to install for me this weekend.

SDHQ never came out with the sunglass holder kit, right? That's the only other spot I have on my truck and that's what I was kind of waiting for. I have the SP with the mounting tabs on the side. I was afraid I would have to drill holes through the plastic and secure with some bolts, but I cut it out pretty tight and it just snaps in and stays in. Came out better than I was expecting.

    Sorry, LAME joke.
I wrapped the brake controller in foam, left it connected and zip tied it behind the dash.
Did you attach to the plastic with the two little strappy bar things that come with the SP?

Everyone keeps talking about the two little strappy bar things but I don't think I have those. Don't think I need them. It snapped into the plastic and I can't get it out without bending the plastic piece. It's in there pretty good. Definitely won't be coming out by just pressing the buttons.

he has the older model 8100 with the 2 tabs on the side to drill holes to. so those look like they are holding it from the backside sandwiching that bezel.

That' awesome! Mine didn't fit that well and just wanted to pop out. I'm really happy with the switches in that location too.

You used the trailer brake panel, huh? My SP was like 2mm wider than the trailer brake opening and the opening was too large on top and bottom. So I just used the stock panel.

How long have you had the Coopers on? How do you like them? I just put on Cooper ST Maxx 295/70-R18, our first off road camping/fishing trip will be in 2 weeks to ultimately put them to test on basically Native American Jeep trails.
