Flipped the bracket on my Rago Fab Ditch Lights today. Lower profile now and doesn’t look so goofy sitting so high. The bolt still fits upside down and the nut hides really nicely behind the lights now. Looks so much better. Not even sure how @dcsleeper408 figured out that this worked but it does.

I'm still debating on removing it. I drive a good deal on freeways for work right now. Most likely I will remove it when my Tundra is not my DD anymore.

Did you take a picture of how they attach? Can’t tell from the “now” pic

Mine are already low to the mount but enough room to go up or down as needed. Those Ragos look huge.
    1. Are they too big?
    2. Are they driving.....and cornering lights?
    3. Do you have much good glare?
    4. Do you think closer to the hood will increase glare?
    5. Have you tried an amber light yet? I’m in love with amber now and want my headlights amber superbrites too.

I kinda wish there were some plates to go under the lights that stick out a little to reduce glare. I have mine angled out full time for multiple reasons, but unintentionally eliminated the hood reflection

Here’s a pic for comparison. Passenger side is normal, driver’s side is dropped.
    21ACCE8F-9DE6-483D-B66E-8B50F753811D.jpg

    1) never too big, they’re average pod size
    2) Ditch lights but I’m aiming them forward. I don’t use while driving on the road.
    3) never noticed any glare, but now that you mentioned it, I probably will. Asshole.
    4) haven’t tried it yet dropped. Still light outside.
    5) I hate yellow lights. Going to try to avoid them as long as possible. I don’t drive in snow so the only time I would need them is when I’m following someone on a night run. Which isn’t often. We’ll see after the Death Valley run.
    6) you need a black vinyl wrap on your hood. Problem solved.

I guess you got all excited and forgot to answer my question about how they attach to the a pillar mounts. Or maybe I didn’t ask the right way

Excited? No. Wasn’t really sure what you were asking. Here’s a pic. 00CBAC2B-F96D-4A5C-B769-C2B1CC54EC6D.jpgThe pods attach to the bracket through the top hole. If you turn it around, you can actually attach it through that hole at the bottom of the bracket. And that bolt you see there that attaches to the pillar mount, you can flip upside down to hide the nut.

No I’m serious. I’m just looking for an excuse to wrap my hood. Really want to do my roof too but I know I’m way too lazy to tackle that.

I’m not interested in wrapping my hood. Maybe my roof, but I’m pretty sure I’d pay a pro to do that one. From what I understand it’s not as easy as you’d think

    Update: Front Sway Bar Delete

So after taking the truck offroad with the front sway bar off, the only thing I’m wondering is why didn’t I do this sooner. It soaks up bumps much better on high speed flats, seems to have better articulation, and much less front wheel slippage on uneven ground. On spots I would normally expect some slipping, I was just rolling right through it.

On the road, I felt a little bit more body roll on corners on the first day. But it was very slight and I’ve already gotten used to it... I barely even feel it anymore. Still haven’t driven on tight highway twisties yet, which will probably be it’s biggest drawback, but it would have to be really bad for me to put the sway bar back on. Honestly, I’m expecting it won’t be too bad though from the few moderate highway turns I took yesterday.

Definitely highly recommending for anyone who offroads.

:notsure: It happened yesterday. I’m surprised Joey didn’t tell you to just remove it. He told me that’s the first thing he does when he gets a truck. That was all I needed to hear.
