I wonder if its better to get the pre-assembled kit vs the non-assembled kit?

I got it preassembled. Which they set it to 3.5. if you don't mind green coils get it assemble. If you get it non-pre you can power coat the coils and then have the shop install your suspension for you. Also to keep inond the kit does not come with Adjustment tool, you have to get it separately and as of right now it's out of stock, which I'm still waiting to order it.

I'm running Cooper Discoverer 295/70 R18 on TRD Off Road rims. I did add 1.25" SpiderTrax spacers, removed the little front flap moving the plastic forward and took a heat gun to the back mud flap. No body chop.

So the performance load rear springs would be a poor choice for someone with a ‘21 crewmax. A decked cargo system and a cap on 100% of the time. With an occasional kayak on top and a frequent load of a few dog crates and dogs. Tow an enclosed snowmobile trailer or competition ski boat occasionally...

If I remember correctly, the performance spring is rated from 0-440 lbs. So you have to determine how much weight you be carrying on the rear. If you planning add more weight go with a higher spring rate.

Used the forklift at warehouse to check the flex, ride is smooth, but i have 880lbs springs and needed some load, now it's better with my Canopy, tent, awning....and will have more.

But I am short and it's too high, need to lower it, what do you think I can do, shackles or SUA????

Fuel Cell Pro Stage 2. Had a local shop do the work. Overall I'm very pleased with how it turned out. The only negative was that Ironman did not adjust the driver's side coilover differently. So my driver's side sits about 3/8" lower than the passenger's side. Also had the shop install some new wheels...Icon Alloy Rebounds on Radar Renegade RT+ 295/70R18.

I am not sure of any aftermarket company that does take that into account and provides different length Springs like the factory.
Just add a shim or two to the drivers side if you want it to come up.
Or easier yet just a couple cranks on the passenger side to bring it down.

BC2BD819-68C8-497C-B523-1AD7F2300209.jpg Stage 2 lift. Not the pro but the foamcell with white shocks and the ironman uca’s. Rides well have ran it now for 3 months. Pleased so far. Have not done any serious off-roading so I can’t comment on that yet. I have had the bed loaded down with about a half ton and it handled it like a champ. That’s the performance leafs in rear.

The pre-assembled coilovers came tagged, one "driver's side" and the other "passenger's side". They have the threaded collars for fine adjustments, so I just assumed they were adjusted. Good thing I bought the spanner tool.

The consensus in the other ironman thread is no, a diff drop is not required.

They had so many complaints about springs rubbing, they quit selling them. If you install the springs yourself though you can ensure they don't rub... probably. Myself and several other people have extra sets of springs, if you want to do it. Wait for a storewide 25% off sale though.

They pulled the kit until they figure out the issues they were having with it. I don't know when they will get it figured out but when they do I'm supposed to get another free set of coil overs from them.

I might call them some time in the next week or so just to see if they've made any progress so far.

Any update on this kit, I am strongly leaning this way. Best price kit I have seen.

It's a shame they had issues with springs on the FCP's. It must have happened after I bought mine because I have no issues and have about 15K miles. No diff drop, no cv boot tears. Helps that I live in a warm climate and drive mostly on dirt roads.

I still have not installed mine, have had the kit for probably over a year now just sitting here. Will be interesting to see if I have a "bad kit" as regards to the whole spring twist thing. I bought knowing I would not install for maybe a few years. The price was amazing so I pulled the trigger. Time will tell

Pretty sure if you adjust for clearance when you install the springs, you'll be good.

Yo, I know this thread is a couple years old, but can you measure from the center of your hub to the fenders? I have a TRD pro with a 35" BFG's and a 3" lift that I think is starting to sag. Curious how much this kit would raise my current set up.
