After much research and limited choices due to COVID availability, I've decided to go with the Ironman 4x4 Foam Cell Pro 3.5" Suspension Kit. My install date is this coming Wednesday. My original choice was to go with the Bilstein 6112 coil overs and 5100's in the rear but due to availability now being moved up to mid May I've changed mind and decided to go with the Ironman suspension kit. It's more money than I initially was going to spend but again my choices are limited and not only with Bilstein. Any reviews I've been able to find have all been positive. Is there anyone else on this form that has this suspension on their truck?

Several guys in there have the 3.5" as well. Edit: As a matter of fact, Ironman doesn't even advertise 2.5" on their website currently.

Those are the one's I'm looking for feedback from. Having been a previous LC owner and running an OME suspension I appreciate the thread but the LC is not the same as the Tundra. My 94 LC was amazing and the OME suspension had a great ride but that suspension is coils on all 4 wheels which is no way similar to the Tundra.

Hi, is this confirmed that 6112 are being pushed back? Not surprising this is the case, this is just the first time I've heard it being pushed this far out.
You mind providing your source of this info :) thanks!

That came directly from Bilstein. I talked to them early Jan. and they said mid February, talk to them a couple weeks ago and they said mid May. I had my heart set on doing this after the 1st of the year with the Bilstein's so I waited till February. Now I'm going with Ironman. Tuff decision for the extra money but I think I will be glad when it's done and it's much better than the Bilstein suspension from all the reviews I've read.

There is an added small bonus to the Ironman suspension and that's that I don't need to add a rear sway bar which I was planning to do. That'll save me $200+. Body roll elimination is one of the improvements with this suspension kit.

Hmmmm, I already own a rear trd sway bar - not installed yet as I wanted to do it with my lift all at once....Is the sway bar not compatible OR will need longer end links?

Bubba at Ironman told me it isn't needed with this suspension kit. He has this kit on his Tundra also. Get your money back.

I've had this installed for about 2 weeks now. Got the 3.5" Stage 2. Initially, I wanted the 2.5" but after talking to John and Bubba, they said there was never really a 2.5". The 2.5" when measured was 3.5" so they changed it to reflect the lift height. I do not have anything to compare this to but so far it rides well. My truck is a 2018 CM with the Off Road package. Comparing stock to this, well the Ironman feels good. Firm but not harsh. It absorbs bumps really well and moves on. Currently have on 18x9 with a +25 offset and Wildpeaks 295x70. The preset coilovers is really high though. It looks like a true 3.5" up front. The rear leafs says it's a 2". Adjustment appears to not be as flexible because you need to remove the entire coilovers to compress and then adjust the coilovers. Overall, I think you'll like the ride. Not as smooth as a factory but still very close.

Thanks for the post. My truck goes into the shop tomorrow. When I get it back I'll post a pic and an opinion. There doesn't look like there is much of a rake or is that the ground you're on?

I don't think there's much rake. Ironman said stock settings maintain the factory rake but I think the fronts need to drop about 1/2". Ironman has a informational data sheet that gives the measurement of where the collar is and how it correlates with the height. All the reviews I've read, the factory setting looks to be 3.5".

How does it drive with those UCA's? They look great under there.

We’ve installed a bunch recently and have been super impressed.

you won’t be disappointed with your choice.
Get the performance load springs if you aren’t lugging around a ton of weight.

The ride quality will soften up over a couple months time.

Thanks man. The quality is exceptional. I think it's the best bang for the buck. I got the entire package delivered for $2K. This includes the UCA. No BMC. I've got a slight rub once and a while and full lock but I can probably fix that w a heat gun once the weather gets better.

They are usually running specials. The complete kit was $2200 and I used GOODBUDDY10 to get an additional 10% off. The code should still work. If you're going to get it preassembled, you can save some money there too. I should have done the preassembled and had the coils powdercoated and then adjust the lift to about 2.75".
