I did kind of the same thing on my grill but wrapped it. I would love to paint it. And those underlight trim pieces look awesome.

55539-06090-C0 is the standard size one, which I think will work... but I know that spot is a slightly larger shape because of the type of switch. Someone else that's relocated it might know for sure.

Good morning all, I’m attacking my console switch’s today, anyone know which wire I can tap into for dash lighting circuit to illuminate the switch’s at night. I’ve got one powered up and it lights up when on. When it’s off it it has a wire to illuminate. anyone know what wire I can tap into for this task.

    7C704981-1C6D-4DB3-905F-591424678B6A.jpg

I’ve included a pic of the under dash fuse box, and other options above the fuse box.
Thanks in advance for anyone’s suggestions.
I have fuse taps, and Wire tees.

I used a couple of Posi-taps and used the VSC switch. I believe they were the pink and white wires. However, I can not tell for sure from my pic. I can double check this pm to be sure or try and find a better pic.

    Best!

that would be great, I’m using a 12v test light to see where power runs I can’t get the test light to dim thow. I know this the dash has a green light and ant controlled by the black stem that also is used for mileage, reset, etc.

This wire dangling is for dash lights hook up.

Man I really love y’all’s creative ideas, and am fascinated by that 3D printed mini-panel. I went for the “stealth” look for my two LED switches...

I’ve seen the FRACs wire switch’s mounted where you’re light switch is mounted. This site has so much info on it.

Okay so i finally got a chance to look into the wires I tapped into.

Again, they are coming off the VSC (Vehicle Skid Control) switch that was closest to the project at the time so I do not know where the illumination circuit may originate or live. There are two wires for this circuit; positive and negative. On my 2019, the switch has four wires... The pink is positive and the solid white is negative. There is another white wire but also has a black stripe. The blue wire makes up the 4th wire at the VSC switch. This is where I have made an extension to feed all other switches and lights for the illumination circuit.
    Hope this helps!

Yeah, I find it is very close and intuitive for me there. I did not like fumbling underneath the climate controls for the FRAC switch down there. I also moved the factory USB charger and head unit AUX in the middle slot of the three switch panel above the trailer brake. I avoid having a longer charging cables dangling as I do not have a console for the wireless charger.

Yep got the idea from that as I had the OG FRAC harness before I got my Android head unit...
