I’m looking for ideas for center console switches for lights, and other options I’m pondering.
I’d like to use the area behind the shifter, as it seams like dead space.
    Any one got some ideas.
I’m looking for 3-12volt switches possibly in that space. All the switch plates are either to long, to short, to wide. Someone’s done this already, hate to say it I’d like to copy the idea if possible. Open to any ideas.
    Thanks for any reply’s.
I’m in the midst of de chrome the area, it’s time to modify before paint.

Just built this yesterday to mount inside my center console. Switches all came from eBay.

    Cool beans, Nick!

Look for me to pulling the trigger on one of “your” bad boys here soon.

Question, do you have a single gang small switch bezel by chance or plans to maybe make one?

    Thanks and welcome!

Are you meaning a switch panel that only has one switch place in it instead of the three?? I have a few other switch panels in development just need some time to squeeze in test prints in-between orders.

Yes, a single gang instead of multiple gangs...

Something like the bezel in the pic with the exception of it fitting those (fugly- IMHO)Carling switches thingys and housing single OEM style small push switches like in your three gang box.

I know you would have quite the niche if you developed it. I could have, would have used them in several of my own installs and clients’ installs...

    Thanks for your help!

Ah, I have not made that although it wouldn't be too hard. My current panels are designed to hold factory small push switches. When I was originally designing this for my personal use I wanted something that looked as if it came from the factory that way.

“Build it and they will come!”.
I am not great with CAD or other graphic design. My son is but is super busy... blah, blah... so...

Yeah, any of us could reasonably cut/Dremal out a simple square anywhere that our dash/trim/console would allow and it would look factory with this simple switch bezel snapped into said square cut out. It would even allow for housing another switch in between the two 12V/120W outlets, heck possibly 2 dependent on how the switch bezel is spec’d.

    Just saying...

Some pictures of CN Designs @Rocfrog switch panel insert - perfect fit and looks good for a printed part. A bit of finishing and it will be perfect for my additional switches. Solid workmanship...cannot wait to get everything installed!
