3-1 level kit with add a leaf. 295/70/18r cooper max. Spider head light tail light and third brake light, tint, badges off, ladder racks, trd pro grill, color matched hood bulge, grab handle, coach builder +2, dv8 front bumper with winch, fender flares, bed cover....
I got 2.5 out of mine. I have about 1” showing in passenger side and 1.5” on driver side. And for me it has a little to do with he rear. I have rxt leaf pack second setting and if I have 0 weight I have a little less than 2.5” I front but if I put about 300-500 lbs in bed I get a little more than 2.5” lift

I got the 700lb spring and added SPC UCA's and got 3 1/4". I had the guys at icon pre-install and pre-set the coil over to their recommended maximum setting. worked out great!!!
take into consideration I have the ARB (moose killer bumber which add some serious weight!)

i got mine during black friday 2018 and im only getting 2.25" of lift with the collar maxed at 2" on the drivers side, and i had to drop my passenger side substantially to compensate for the lean.

is this just what we get with the icons? i could get the advertised 3" of lift on the passenger side but not on the drivers.

everything is aligned and drives straight and i only have about 1/4" of rake but it would be nice to have more room for adjustment than just maxing the drivers side and compensating for the lean on the passenger side.

I was just talking to boss about ordering some of these to replace my spacer lift yesterday, geez maybe toytec coilovers would be a better bet. I’m about maxed on tire height for a 3” lift already and won’t need new tires for a while..

I know this is an older thread but im getting right under 2inches out of mine and im at the max 2inch thread showing. I was really hoping to get at least 3inches and I already isntalled my icon uca. Im assuming the only solution is to get the 700lb spring? I thought I did my research.

700lb spring helped me - but i also have a moose killer ARB bumper that adds significant weight. But I did get a full 3".

I can’t believe Icon is still having this issue.

Icon has to make a shock for the average user, not everyone has a heavy aftermarket bumper hanging off the end.

at max setting with my icons im at 3.5 inches of lift. I have them turned way down

But everyone with a 4x4 crewmax are only getting a 2” lift at max thread with the 600lb springs.

I wonder if newer tundras sit an average of an inch higher than when icon first tested them and did r/d? Maybe trd springs got higher ride height?

When I had this issue on my 2018 platinum, icon told me they pick the largest and heaviest version of each model to test. If that’s true then they should’ve known this. But who knows. I’m happy with the trd pro I have now.

2021 and still an issue. I only got about 2" lift from my icons. I put steel bumper and winch on and cranked the driver side 5 turns higher than the passenger side (to fix the lean) and no change. Driver side still sits lower. Thinking the 700lb springs will fix this but honestly just want to take them off and go with kings at this point. Icon assured me I would have no issues...... yet here we are.

Have you figured out what you're doing? After you asked about my set up, I called around and it sounds like the 14" springs I got is for the Tacomas. Even though Wheeler's off road told me it should work. Icon said they initially come with a 16" spring. So I'd lose 2" automatically, I think, if I used the 14s. No Wheeler's is telling me I can't return them, even though they've been sitting in my garage waiting for my Icons to come in.

Yea, I was looking at 700 lb springs and 16" is what was for tundras from all the reading I did.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet! I have to find time to figure it out, I'm not happy with the current setup at all. It may come down to swapping over to Kings just hate to drop that coin after I just dropped it on the Icons! LOL

Would you happen to know what the weight of your front bumper and accessories add up to? The shop said I didn't need a 700# spring for my winch, bumper, and skid plate. Adding up to about 160. They wanted to see if there was any sagging with the factory Icon spring.

Approximately 235 lbs with front bumper and winch alone. I also have sliders which will have some effect on that as well.

I got the Icons put on. They tested the 600 spring with my fab bumper and winch. It sagged too much with it. So they tried the eibach 700 pound spring and turned the Icons to almost the max to level it out with the leaf springs.

I found that it is a 16" spring not 14. I'm returning the 14 that I was told would work.

The Icons had to be turned at the max to get the level.

So did I read that right, there is only a 600 lb spring for the 3.0’s on the Tundra with no other option?

    Sorry mine is the 2.5. I think it's a 600 or 650 on the 2.5. The 3.0 I think comes with a 700 spring.

Icon does not reccomend nor encourage the use of a 700 lb spring on the tundra coilovers. Even though that was their solution a while back for fixing these issues....

I had to install 1" top spacers on my coilovers just to get level before the bumper and winch which is absurd. Ill probably be saving up for kings in the future. Not happy at all with my icon experience... I'm maxed out with 2" of thread showing plus the 1" top spacers to get level with my 1.5" rear lift now with the bumper and winch.

Reviving an old thread. Finally got around to starting my Icon stage10 install. Did the front and am getting around 2.75" of lift. I think that is acceptable considering the weight I added to the front. Someone on here mentioned they were getting over 3" with an ARB bumper, considering that things weighs almost 200lb without a winch I don't see how.

    2017 Crewmax 4X4 TRD Offroad
700lb Eibach springs w/1" thread showing
C4 Fab plated overland bumper w/full bar: 165lbs
Warn Zeon 12S Platinum: 80lbs (maybe more)
    RCI Offroad Skid plate 30lbs
I think the in bumper light bar, fairlead, and Factor55 hook are another 6lbs... :)

I am interested in seeing how this works out for you. I am also disappointed with Icon, obviously they are designed to go fast. Winches and other unnecessary options be DAMNED!!!

Yes I thought I did my research and was good to go with the Icons. In retrospect I should have went with OME from what I read they are designed to handle that type of weight. Either way I learned there is a 800lb 16" spring I can upgrade to if the weight can't be handled by the 700lb springs 1600.300.800s I think is the Eibach part number. I was thinking I could use those without preload or little preload.

    What issues are you having?

I have a Chassis Unlimited bumper in front about 100-120 pounds. And a Smittybilt winch (about 100 pounds). I had to get an Eibach 700 pound spring to keep it level at 3 inches. the Icon spring couldn't hold the weight. The shop called me and told me that the Icons didn't hold up and that they'll use the Eibach. Luckily I brought them both springs and didn't have to bring the truck back later to finish the install. I kept speaking to Icon, Wheeler's Offroad, and Eibach. Kept getting different answers. Finally I listened to Eibach when they said "you'll need a 700 pound spring". I think I read that Eibach actually supplies Icon with their springs. Eibach offered a Military discount, but found them cheaper on Amazon.

Yes Eibach I beleive does manufacture springs for Icon. I think Icon posted that as well. I was hoping to be right at 3" of lift with the 700lb springs. I'm pretty satisfied with the height I ended up with. Worst case there's always the Eibach 800lb. I'll ultimately decide once I have the rear suspension installed.

There was enough information on this forum and ih8mud for me to decide on the 700lb early on. That's where I learned of the 800lb springs. Someone had to go from 700 to 800. I now understand these things are not specifically built for heavy vehicles. So everyone's experience experience varies.

I was lucky to get my hands on a Branick spring compressor so I can swap out springs at home. The thing paid for itself already. I bought mine straight from Eibach, was concerned I would get knock-offs or defective ones from Amazon.

I'll post back on how things turn out once I install everything. I'm doing one corner at a time. Do you have Summo Springs in the front?

I do not any issues besides being disappointed. I wanted to add a winch to the front but not with the setup I currently have. The issue is knowing the front shocks will not handle the extra weight effectively

Understood. If you decide to add the winch what changes are you going to make?
