Man that army green is a sexy color, are you planning on taking out all the chrome?

Eventually yeah, having to do mods at a slow pace. Just got a diamondback cover for the bed, audio system is next. The chrome will eventually disappear though in favor of army green (or black) replacements.

Yep, no underseat storage, and I hate that. You can buy after market options, but you have to cut up the carpet under the seats and there are 3 "pockets" that can be used. For a little more money/work there's a kit that lets you use the entire back underseat area. You have to replace the brackets holding the seats in place to the frame and cut more carpet, but I'm considering it.

ESP is the only one I've heard of for CM. DC I think there is Du-ha? Might have remembered it wrong. Anyway, there could be more for both, but those are the only ones I've ever seen.

I don't think I understand the Army Green with all that chrome. Not sure what Toyota is thinking there.

I dont dislike it with chrome as much as I thought I would. I thought it would clash badly. In fact I think the only truck color that the chrome compliments well is calvary blue. Regardless ill be getting a TRD sport in army green for just this reason

I am also getting army green trd sport for 2 reasons. One is that trd offroad is nowhere to be found anywhere and latest you can get is in abt 4 to 6 months with special order. Secondly i dislike cheome and with sport i will have no chrome and then only difference fromoffroad would be skid plates and AT tires which i will get later on. Now i have local dealer offered me $42,700 for one 2021 cm armygreen. I will try to talk them down to around $41k+ttl

Off Road and Sport have shocks tuned differently as well. Sport also has the trd sway bars that the OR does not. The tires are crap on both, but the OR has 18" wheels instead of 20" like the Sport. OR skids are a joke. Not worth the package for that. Aftermarket or TRD Pro skids are much better.

Ok so the bilstein shocks are tuned differetly on both packages? How are they different? Which one is better or more preferable?
I did not know that TRD offroad skid plates are different from TRD pro skid plates?
I dnt care much abt 18" wheels vs 20" wheels
Sway bars is plus since i wud have to change skid playtes on OR anyways if they r crap

The off-road has shocks that are tuned for off-road driving, so they will absorb bumps and bounces a little better on rough Terrain. The sport has shocks that are tuned more for on-road performance and cornering. They're going to be stiffer to assist with handling. You can't really say that one is better than the other because they are designed to do two different things. One is better off road, and one is better on twisty roads.

The pro engine skid plate is made of aluminum and has significantly better coverage, and a door to get to the oil filter. The regular TRD off-road engine skid plate is basically sheet metal, and small. The fuel tank skid plate is made out of plastic, so it's not exactly great.

18" wheels give you more sidewall, so they are going to absorb bumps better, and give you more room for airing down if you go off road. 20" wheels are going to have less sidewall and therefore be stiffer, so that will compliment the sports stiffer suspension for driving on curvy paved roads. The sport will ride rougher on bumps, and you will more easily blow out a tire off road in it.

it sure does sound good deal, what i am waiting on is that initially i was searching for TRD offroad and there is none in 5 states, the ones scheduled to come in next 3 months are marked sold in all 5 states. so the only option is special order, for special order initially they wanted full msrp of $47600 with options i wanted. then i started searching and checking around and they started competing against each other, now i am sitting at offer of $44,900+ttl and also whenever truck arrives whatever toyota incentive at that time will be on top of that. sounds like pretty good deal for special order but the only caveat is anywhere from 2 to 6 months wait time. that is why i started looking into TRD sport and the best offer on that so far is around $42,700 after customer cash.

Neither has characteristics that can't be easily changed. Color matching is very expensive, and purely cosmetic. The sway bars can be removed and sold if you want more off road wheel travel, and that money could be used toward skid plates, or a suspension upgrade. Don't get me wrong, the TRD off-road is a solid truck, but now after having owned one for over a year, I wish I had gotten a sport just to take care of the color matching. Everything else that I'm doing to my truck I could do to a sport, and if you have any intention of upgrading the suspension it doesn't matter which of these two trims you purchase.
