Thanks for the tips on here guys! The Dremel tool worked great, the notches don’t have to be clean at all, just go in there and make room for whatever button you want. All of the switches fit securely and have no wiggle, feels very factory. I made the holes fit multiple buttons so I can move them where ever, whenever. Now I’m just waiting for the rear window switch harness to arrive. Check the build link in my signature.
The 4runner switch is a completely different shape/design. It's not just a simple "small switch blank" shape, but rather a full assembly made to fit into the trim in the 4runner in that location.

Where did you get the switch panel? I'm trying to decide if that is where I should put my train horn button lol.

This is where. Contact info in pic. Just FYI, he is moving places and hasn’t set his equipment back up yet. Not taking orders till he has finished moving. Good luck.

I know it’s been a while since the install, but do you have a recommendation for the screws use to secure that panel insert to the console?

just got mine in and was curious what the best options were.

i didn’t know they were offered without top screws.
Regardless, I simply used some sheet metal screws and some black caps (which do not apply in your case)

Mine came with screws. Can't remember what kind but may have been bolts into the bottom of the switch panel.
