I don’t think it looks bad! It actually fits.

Your truck isnt that high so you may get away with having up higher so you can see behind you if there’s cargo.

Looks good. The only thing that I don't like is those fender flairs. But that's just my personal preference. Otherwise great looking truck!

Looks pretty slick. The only thing I’d recommend is to make as low as possible and still be able to get the tonneau open but that’s my personal preference.
    Good job!

How much weight can the modified brackets hold? Or factory ones? Any close ups?

    The new ones hold 350lbs.
Not sure about the factory mounts.
Anything heavy would go in the bed anyway. I can’t lift real heavy stuff up that high.

I do, and will be installing rod brackets...but rocket launchers aim up at an angle, and I’d worry about bridges.

    Or maybe I misunderstood.

    Not many yet, mostly stock.

Sometimes you have to do what ya gotta do. You could mount it so that it comes off with some quick release mounts. After all sounds like it going to be used for light duty items as you mentioned.
Doesn't look to bad.:popcorn: Might Ask @ARamirez73

Na that's the benefit of having your fishing rods in the back @ a angle to avoid trees, bridges, lines. I wouldn't put my rod/reels up front , first you would have to buy reel protectors and your rods are blocking your view. Just my opinion of course. Here's mine. Also I dont have to worry about debri, rocks, and other shit kicked up while driving. Whatever you do, I think the rack looks great:thumbsup:

Add a 50 cal machine gun and you’ll be in business. Might be able to get a government contract job in Afghanistan, too. :)
