I felt lucky to find a new 2021 for MSRP about a week ago.

Agree. Just drove a new 2022 Frontier. It’s just like the 2008 frontier, but newer. Other than the new engine and trans, which are pretty solid, the rest feels ancient. And why is the steering so heavy in all nissans now?? FGT’s rule

Yeah, the new body looks Great! and I am sure the new drive train is good also, but does not seem like they are trying to be real competitive!
Don't care anymore, as long as I have another Toyota in my driveway!
Wife has a Rav4, I still have a beater KIA, but when that dies I will replace it with an old Corolla, Camry or Lexus for daily gas sipper!
Sorry to briefly go off topic, Go TUNDRA!

A good deal all depends on if you are happy with the deal and you get what you want.

Never in a million years did I ever think I would pay MSRP for a truck. Well in June, 2021, I did. However, I also got about $8K more than I expected for my 2017 SR5 CM. So I was very happy with the deal.

This is the best advice. I was nervous paying barely under MSRP for my Pro last summer and feel like that was a steal compared to current conditions. I see used SR5s listed at what I paid for mine new. Never been a better time to be a seller. The market is out of control and will ultimately reset. I sincerely think there are segments that are 30-40% overpriced.
