    My 2017 4x4 CM SR5 was a CPO from a dealer for 32.5k.
IIRC, it had 25,000 miles on it.

I’m stubborn AF? I bought a couple days before the end of the year when they wanted as much inventory gone as possible? There are multiple Toyota dealerships in my area. Two of my sons are Toyota mechanics and work at two different dealerships so I did some back and forth between the two and pushed for a family discount. My dad owns a very reputable Auto Body ship near the dealership that I ultimately went to and he exclusively does all of the body work on their used vehicles (and is the type of guy that everyone knows by name and stands up to shake his hand when he walks into the dealership)? My Dad and brother bought their Tundra and Tacoma there year before? Or a combination of all of the above....I dunno. But I was happy with what I paid.

I also got them to come up 5k in price from their original offer on my Cadillac that I traded in.

I tried to get a dealership to give me a good deal for 6 months to no avail. I finally tried the Costco buyers program, and ended up using it. I Saved thousands compared the best dealer offer, and no haggling to get there. The MSRP on mine was 37.5k, dealer did not want to go less than 35k, and I ended up paying 31.5k through the buyers program. I have a 2018 SR 4x4 long bed 5.7 with the tow package.

2010 CM in 2012. Paid 30.5k... so I suppose in today's costs I saved ~15k for two years?

I paid $63k after taxes & fees with the Magnuson supercharger wrapped into the loan; it can't be installed until Magnuson actually finishes the programming. That price also included spray in bed liner, free installation of some parts I had already bought for the truck, and lifetime powertrain warranty (which some may view as a gimmick).

I played ever dealer within a 300 mile range until dealers could only 'match' another dealers price; which told me that was the lowest that any of the dealers would go. This was a little limited as I was looking for a 2020 Platinum in Super White only; there was only 3 of these in WA and 7 in the whole PNW. Then I filed it down to the dealers that said they would install the Magnuson supercharger and them again on the price of the supercharger installed. Once I got down to the very best deal I could find I went to the dealer that is 15 miles from me and basically said, "I'm here to buy this truck, can you beat this deal?"

I paid 34K for my 09 Crewmax 4x4 5.7 SR5 brand new 10 years ago. No moonroof, hardly any accessories, base 6 disk Cd head unit, cloth seats with front buckets. Every new truck I see of any make comparable to mine goes for the mid 40s so the OP's quoted price doesn't seem too rediculous to me. In a perfect world with a bunch of Toyota dealers around you can play against eachother and with this being the end of a design cycle of an outdated body style I would guess you could shave another couple or few grand off those prices. But that could be cancelled out by the fact that dealer is the only one in his area and he feels people will pay up to get into this generation before it's replaced with something un-tested.

2015 CM SR5 w/5.7 and 22,XXX miles was stickered at $28,995 before tags and taxes.

Can't believe how much new trucks are going for these days!

I think I paid less for my 2010 SR5 brand new. I like the 2015 much better.

Yeah inflation is a real b$%!. I just started kicking tires recently preparing to make a move in the next couple years and was shocked to find money that would have put me in the fully decked out leather/moonroof version of a crewcab half ton last time around gets me the mid grade model with cloth seats and the base stereo now.

All I wanted upgraded from my 2010 was a back up camera to hook up to my boat and bluetooth. Got both with the 2015 so I was satisfied and with that price I thought it was a good deal, especially considering the low miles!

Buying used is nothing like it used to be! There is hardly any to NONE negotiating with these guys. A product of the internet as I was told.

I paid 31,900 (before all the bullshit taxes and whatnots) here in KS for my 17 TRDPro... Call Toyota first and get "preapproved" and maybe that can give you some leverage abilities before your dealership or travel times??

My 2020 SR5 CM 5.7 w/TRD OFF-road pkg (3” lift, off-road tires, premium wheels) cost me 43k after my 13k trade in and 2k manufacture rebate. I love this truck and it’ll be sitting in my driveway for a couple months while I’m away for work, which will be tough but it’ll be brand new for me when I get back in March.

I payed 18k for my 2014 sr5 with 82k miles. Still has everything I bought it with. Heavy duty rear bumper with LEDs, leveling kit 3 inch in the front 2 in the rear. Inch and a half spacers with 33s all terrains nothing fancy.

42.5k on a 48.5k MSRP SR5 with TRD offroad rebate factored in. Got a decent trade price on my 2015 with 80k as well in Pittsburgh. Had them move a few things over to the new truck as well.

In June, got my 2013 SR5 DC Off Road 5.7 with 92,000 dealer maintained one owner for 20,500 + ttl. I love it. However I’m currently negotiating with the same dealership for a 2020 SR5 SX, they seem to not want to budge on the price. Books for 42k, I’m offering 35. I’ll get it for 35 there or somewhere else. Patience is key.
