Lol my house is 8/12 and 12/12. I put the shingles on the 8/12 without roof jack's just made sure I had sneakers on. I was 30 when I built my house I'm now 41 and don't like getting on it as much anymore.

I’ve read where “black soles” are best, and I tried some black soled Nikes tied tight - no beuno. There are a few sections where I can hang on to another roof and scoot down the 9/12 - and if I didn’t have something to hang onto, my ass would be 25ft down LOL.
I’m 37 - and just too damn old to risk paralyzing my ass. :D
I took this pic a few weeks back because a fellow business partner fell off his ladder and had to have extensive surgery on his arm.
I was dropping the anti moss stuff, and had to straddle the roof ridges by “jumping”. It was stupid, and next year I need to figure out a better way LOL.

Finally got a tree after a day long fiasco! LOL I guess there is some tree shortage? Not sure how that’s possible in the PNW.
Went to 3 farms before finally finding one: I’m going to plant 50 a year for a few years I think on our property so we don’t have to worry about it lol. Friends and family tree day
14 foot Noble for $30! Total score!! Cut it down to 12ft
It had 2 tops, but we thought that was cool LMAO! :D

Well, here’s proof I’ve had way too much time on my hands while recovering from surgery on my finger. My sons and I put up lights on the front of the house a couple days ago, didn’t think to take pics of that yet.

Tonight the Mrs. and I finished making gingerbread houses, here’s mine.

Tomorrow is tree hunting day. :)
