Yeah sorry man. It was one of the things I told my wife. I promised I would be home more and stop working 14 to 16 hour days. I was missing my daughter growing up. I miss the extra money but I don’t miss the headaches and working out of a pick up truck.

    10 years its definitely time.

The Same symptoms happened to me in my modest little home shortly after I moved in about 30 years ago.
In my case.. new drain field was required.

If a new field is needed.. you can do this work yourself. Just research drain field designs on line.
Spend a little quality time with your shovel for a few evenings after work. Your pumper will stop by to pump the tank while your working on it.
Buy some pipe, drain rock but most importantly, put filter fabric on top of the rock.. this is easy & cheap... just a few hundred bucks.

Some installers may want charge you upwards to 10 grand + for an upgraded system

If you decide to do yourself.... ‘Do Not’rent any equipment/machines which might attract the attention from those nosey neighbors who you have pissed off, and who might want turn you in.
If asked just tell them you are doing some maintenance... which you are personally allowed to do.

    You got this!

Exactly why I stopped, but I still do jobs here and there for friends and family. I actually miss being a plumber but don't miss the unpredictable schedule, or dragging my Spartan 300 onto roof tops in those IE Summers.

Did have some good times though when I was young and single, could tell some stories of those adventures.

Ended up having the tanks emptied. Seems to have fixed the issue.
