With proper wheel offset.. example...my rims are +12... you can avoid CMC mod and run 295's but still need to move front fender liner forward which is covered on this forum. I have CMC plates and will eventually do the mod for even more clearance.

OME 614 with aal in the rear here and I love this set-up. Flawless for 3+ years, and I do not expect any problem for many more years to come. Maintenance-wise, it's as maintenance free as can be.

If you get OME Dakar leaf pack (full leaf spring replacement), expect 2.5 inches of lift in the rear. With OME 614, I got 3.5 inches of lift in the front. With aal (1.5), I am about dead even. So with Dakar springs, you will probably get about 1 inch rake.

Oh yeah. Just get your spanner wrench that's provided w/ the lift and crank.
It's probably easier to take the wheels off to do so.

CMC is a part of the frame that sticks out an inch or so in the wheel well.

I have a 3" Toytec coilover and I rub in reverse @ full lock with Black Rhino Warlords and 285/65r18s. You will almost surely have worse rubbing with a taller and wider tire.

I am considering moving to 295/70 too, so if you go this route please let us know how it works.

Welcome..........Depending on your travel trailer size/tongue weight, you will want to go with rear airbags. Firestone/ride-rite is my choice. Also make sure you use a good quality W/D (weight distribution) hitch in conjunction with your bags. If doing any off-roading with suspension articulation, airbag cradles are a must. Good luck with all.......

Thanks CM Lenny. Once lifted won't the airbags just raise the back end higher? or is it more of leveling due to the trailer dropping the back end?

Hey bud, If you get a descent equalizing hitch with the trailer you're planning on purchasing, you don't need any suspension mods. That is unless you plan on taking your anvil collection to the swap meet and/or anvil enthusiast show in Amarillo, then you may need to have some work done on the suspension. You can pick up a brand new hitch from U-haul for a fairly descent price or visit these guys and they'll get you hooked up. etrailers.com When you set up your rig, make sure to take your time and read the freakin instructions. You'll need to take measurements and shit, but it is definitely worth it in the end. If you don't want to mess with all that, have a local RV shop do all that for you. Of course you'll pay more and you won't have the satisfaction of knowing you did it yourself, but it's a lot less of a hassle.

Did anyone also upgrade their UCA's when they got the lift? Hearing it is suppose to really help with the alignment.

    Too many…scratch that…not done yet.
Check out ICON for your shocks/springs and Firestone bags.
    That's what I'm running...
Bags will certainly save some wear on the springs and are great for towing. Just need abt 5# for normal driving. You can add air for towing, but let it out when your done or your ride can get a little bouncy.

The ride is fine although somewhat stiffer than OEM of course.

FYI the Bilstein 5100's will give you a front lift of about 2 1/4 inches. That should be enough to stuff the 295/70R18's you are looking for. I'd do the 5100 rears and shackles to lift the rear if you decide that route.
