Originally owned a 2010 Black Crewmax. Sold it to get into a Lexus GS350 F-Sport. The wife loved that truck and wanted another when the Lexus lease was up. She wanted a Platinum, I wanted the TRD Pro. We compromised and bought the Platinum, but I get to mod it to give me the TRD Pro aesthetics.

    Mods so far include:
Replace running boards with Nfab 6 step
    TRD Pro rims with Nittos
Plastidipped the Platinum and 4x4 badges
    TRD Pro grill
Barcelona Red door handles and mirror caps
    LED interior lighting
    TRD Dual Exhaust
    TRD Sway Bar
    DriveBright.com LED puddle lights
    Morimoto XB fog lights
    Bakflip MX4 tonneau cover
    3M Tint - 30% front/20% rear
    Bilstein 5100s on all four
Toytec rear lift shackle w/ poly bushing
    Texas Classic black license plate
    Husky front & rear liners
    Nitto TerraGrappler G2 295/70/18
    1.5" wheel spacers

    Items on order:
DAP Tune schedule for first week of September

    Wants:
New headlights - Spyder or retrofit (in progress)

    When I bought it:

    As it now stands:

Love this color. I had to compromise also. Wife wanted the platinum lol.

Oh yeah, careful with led bulbs from Amazon. I had some on my license plate and they started flickering within a few weeks. I'd recommend superbrightleds or vleds.

What Blue said about the LED bulbs. Got mine from VLED and no issues with them yet. If you go that route, be careful about changing the interior courtesy lights.
    1. Pull the fuse
    2. Be careful not to bend or push up on the small metal base in the housing. Plenty of stories. I actually have bulbs from Headlight Revolution in the front ones.

I have a brother-in-law who lives in Pearland.

Btw...here is the fuse for the interior lights when you go and do the swap. My truck is a 2015 SR5. The fuse box is under the hood above the battery

Thanks for the LED info. I would love to be able to replicate the lighting from my GS350. It was all LED inside from the factory, but not overpoweringly bright.

I recently replaced that flickering license plate bulb with one of these

I believe it is the light you are looking for. Not too bright but a nice soft white light. And the light spread is pretty good.

First round of LEDs. Used Sylvania Zevo's from Autozone. 6000k. The LEDs match the white/blue gauges and radio lighting perfectly.

2nd round of LEDs - reverse lights, license plate and cargo lights. Still need the vanity mirror lights and driver footwell

I was concerned after looking at all the pictures because the light looked overwhelming. I think that comes from taking pictures at night. Once you see it in person, it looks just right.

So I attempted to install the TRD exhaust tonight. After everything I've read, I thought it would be child's play. Tail pipe came off easily, but could not get the bolts to budge where the muffler connects to the cats. Will find a shop in the morning to remove those bolts for me.

TRD sway bar and exhaust installed. Is the exhaust easy to install....yes, if you have the right tools. Went to a local off road shop and they were booked. Decided to stop into a local Kwik Kar and ask if I they could help with the install using the lift and power tools. Install done in 30 minutes.

You will love them. Just make sure to find someone with techstream so you can change the light time from 7.5 seconds to 15-30 seconds. I forget which were the options but 7.5 seconds is just not long enough.

Also ordered Morimoto XB fogs. There is a great group buy on them right now through the TundraCrew or Tundra Classifieds FB groups.

Morimoto XB fog lights installed. Also love the blacked out look when installed. Only white lights that are still halogen are the headlights. Even my wife said the headlights look ridiculous now. I said, "I know, we got to do something about that!". :bananadance:

Morimoto on the left. Stock on right.

You went with the Sylvania on those too? Looks great. I had a 2010 black Platinum Tundra. Traded it on a Lexus GS 350 F sport. Now I have a 2017 1794 Tundra. Similar vehicular choices!!! Keep up the work. It is looking great!!! Love the Barcelona Red.

Yes, all the lights are Sylvania, except for the driver footwell light (74 bulb) which I could not find in the Sylvania brand.

I loved the F-Sport. Very fun car to drive. Expensive to maintain...$900 for new brake pads and rotors and I was blowing through tires every 20,000 miles. I thought about the GS F for a short period of time, but decided against it.

Tint scheduled for Saturday. I want the front windows to look the same as the back. What percentage should I be looking for all around so that it all looks the same?

Also picking up a spare set of SR5 headlights. Then it's on to building a retrofit with the Platinum headlights.

Also, I think I have settled on the following for the suspension.

Bilstein 6112/5160 with 1 shim one both sides in the front. I don't seem to have any lean currently. Coachbuilder +2 shackles in the back.
