These look great! Did you paint them or have them powder coated?

the center caps were painted in regular car paint and the logo was left in chrome.

Hello, can you tell me how your 295/55 Nitto RG's are holding up and how do you find the road manners to be with this tire, ride harsh, noisy, etc?

I know you asked a fellow forum member, but my Nitto RG are a night and day difference from the OEM 20" tires the Toyota came with. Better road handling, better ride quality, looks 150% better, so far a good experience.

i had these tires for about 35,000 miles before i sold them. they held up just fine and would have lasted about 70,000 miles. the street performance of 295/55/20 ridge grapplers was definitely better than the stock 275/55/20 tires. however, because the RG's are an E rated tire and because of the lower profile sidewall of the 295/55's, they were much stiffer than the 275/55's. this made the ride a little harsher, but the street performance was great... so i didnt mind :)

I have since moved up to a 295/60/20 RG and this size tire is definitely smoother and more compliant than the 295/55's. i think the ride is better with the 295/60's.

the RG's are an awesome tire that mixes the performance of an all terrain tire and the look of a mud tire. this keeps them much quieter than a mud tire, but will be a little louder than the stock street tire. before the RG's, i had another truck with Mickey Thompson MTZ's and those were LOUD. i am incredibly happy with the RG's.

Thanks for the feedback and that is great to hear, yes I have heard the lower profile 20's (ex: 55 sidewall) can ride a little firm and thats been my concern as I use my Tundra mostly for towing our 6K travel trailer with the family onboard and don't want it to ride like a brick down the highway, its not a daily driver and don't go off-road much either but do live where there is snow in the Pacific NW. I currently have Toyo OC AT2 P275 60 20 4 ply and while they ride really plush and are an awesome tire, they also look a bit overloaded too with 800lbs of trailer tongue weight and squirm a little on windy days. I would like to upgrade to an LT tire for stability but there are not a lot of choices without going to 10 Ply. I could run a 285 60 20 10 Ply which would increase that sidewall height a little to help a little with ride quality but then don't want to go too tall as to hurt tow performance either. Its all a compromise for sure.
