A shim is only 1/4 for 1/2”. Not 1.5-2” like a leveling spacer. Big difference.

We have the same truck. Here is before 285/65/r20 to compare with the photos above. You may have a flare clearance issue even with a 3" lift as I had to pull the factory flaps.

The alignment is now within factory spec but pushing the adjustment limits. 4WP got it right in and fixed it up. Drives pretty much stock. Can definitely feel the Bilsteins on the rear. I am looking at other options.

What’s the sheet look like. You can’t align a lifted tundra using factory specs. What’s wrong with the bilsteins on the rear? My 5100s were a nice improvement over the TRD red bilsteins that came on the truck

The tires are aligned to within factory specs for castor and camber. The sheet has green bars instead of red ones. :D
Nothing is wrong with the 5100s. I can feel the difference with them on the back. :dancingbacon:

Toyota’s allowances are very broad. I too had my truck aligned and everything was in the green. However I knew it wasn’t right with camber at .6 and .7 and castor at 2. I brought it to a real chassis and suspension shop and they confirmed that my alignment was jacked up. The truck now drives and tracks better than it did stock. Being in the green doesn’t mean anything if they are using Toyota factory specs.

@ShreveportTSS so you have the 285/65/20 in those pics? That’s the tire size I’m planning to go with...so you removed the flaps and what else? I have Bilsteins 2.5” setting front nothing in rear with 285/55/20 now.

Yes (below), 3-1 lift (spacers), I initially removed both, front wheel well "spats" and splash guards. I put the splash guards back on this afternoon and drove it with no contact but it's close. Shown with tire turned left at closest point.
Pics with nerf bars are stock 285/55/r20.

@ShreveportTSS nice...I’m pretty sure they should fit mine. I dont see why not. It’s a close fit with the flaps but still some finger space haha. Thanks! Also could you share more photos of full truck with those tires and side views?

I have the TSS (Toyota Sport Series) It came with the regular SR5 shocks not the TRD Bilsteins. I may end up with the TRD Bilsteins on front.

Bout to get some Cooper stt pros in 295/55/20 but I’m looking for a rwl. I guess they don’t like making white letters anymore.

No level, all stock. Wheels are +50mm, while the stock TRD Off-road are +60mm.

So do you think those size tires would fit on my TRD Sport that has been leveled at 2" with the same offset?

Do you have the stock wheels? The issue isn’t height, it’s that the offset of the wheel on a stock truck puts the tire 10mm closer to the control arm. It would be close. I would look for threads related to 295 wide tires on 60mm wheels (stock). Also keep in mind, there are minor variations between manufacturers even in the same size.

Not to resurrect an old thread, but I found this super helpful when doing my own research. I just put 305/55/20 on the same stock wheels with +60 offset. I have an SR5 non TRD and is completely stock otherwise. I’d be curious to see what your clearance is like between the tires and UCAs. Mine is VERY close, but doesn’t rub. Will probably go down to a 295 next time around.

Sorry, not trying to revive old thread either but I want to add a pic to help others that may be curious. Here is a pic of my Sequoia with the tundra TSS wheels 20x9 +50 offset and Toyo RT 295/55/20. It's close also but does not rub on UCA, probably about 1 finger gap

@MgmSR5 - Just curious why downsize to 295/55/20? Is the 305/55/20 to close for comfort? I actually wanted to go 305/55/20 but was afraid it would rub on UCA. But after seeing your pics, I might go up 305/55 next time.

I actually don’t have this truck anymore, but I was planning on downsizing just because of how close it was! It doesn’t rub though!
