It’s amazing what can be done with just your body weight. Add a medicine ball, slam ball, a few dumbbells, and a 30” box and you’re golden.

Ran a PR mile this am at 6:50, did 100 burpees in 6:15, then ran my 2nd PR mile at 7:20.
I know that’s not special (I’m almost 40 lol), but I just started CrossFit in October so I’m new to all this. It’s pretty exciting :D

That’s pretty dang good! I hate both of those two things:rofl:. I just spent a month doing only CF workouts to see if I could stay consistent with them and I may be switching again. The last 6 months have been a struggle but I’m not quitting. Just trying to figure out what I can sustain. Bout to go do some legs and shoulders right now.

    I HATE RUNNING! Lol
I started doing bootcamp Mon-Thur, then “Chipper Friday” and a partner workout with my wife on Saturday.
I’m hooked and have been for months. Never felt so great in my entire life.
Then this Covid shit hit, and my buddy has me over every morning for a combo of CrossFit bar movements and bootcamp style cardio. I love it.

Have a home gym with a new treadmill coming tomorrow. I'm still able to use my work gym but the wife can't do her classes at this time so that helped with more toys in the home gym:)

This is what Ive been doing, plus walking for lunch at work (when i would normally be at the gym) and riding my bike in the evenings. I miss the gym, but getting creative is kinda fun. I hope to score some discount weight stuff when this is all over and people dump the home gym stuff they bought in a panic.

LOL!!! I love the Airdyne and Rower! Or bike erg. I’d rather do all 3 before running. It’s hilarious, because 90% of my bootcamp class is the complete opposite and would rather run.

I have the dvd set from years ago and completed the 90 days once. It’s really good but I prefer pushing the weights.

24 hour fitness is the only one I’ve seen still charging. They sent their call center home so there’s no way to cancel. I would probably be fine with it if they were still paying their employees, but it is my understanding they are not. I’m going to cancel my membership and sign elsewhere when things open again.

Our gym is a smaller family owned place and I’m fine with them still charging. They did lay off the coaches, but they still have rent to pay. Not sure how it equals out, but hopefully the SBA grants will allow them to pay their employees and make rent.

I would do the same if my gym were a small family owned shop. I’m in full support for small businesses. 24 hour is a large greedy corporate owned gym empire with millions in reserves I’m sure and not paying their employees. They said they will extend memberships for as long as they are closed which makes no sense if members are month to month.

I went from a small Snap Fitness in a strip mall to this.

    3290E892-C4A3-428C-AA60-BA6D3F55FD6F.jpg

Not pictured is my Rogue dog sled, and all my tires that are outside. I have done powerlifting, cross fit and now back to regular old bb style workouts.

Best decision ever to build this.

Also anybody looking to try their luck go check out Garage gym reviews IG page (might be on FB too). Coop is giving away one hell of an awesome combo bench from Ghost and a power bar from Kabuki Strength. It’s worth like $4500.

Every once in a while I miss some gym company.

then I remember I’m either wearing slippers or no shoes, the music is what I put on, everything is put away( usually) and can’t beat the commute lol.

I agree. But then again I enjoy “suffering” alone as it helps build mental capacity in my opinion.
