I would be surprised to hear if any gyms in the country are still open. 24 hour fitness in my town closed during the week. As a result, I’ve taken up running around the neighborhood with my son (who runs x-country and track). I obviously can’t keep up, but it’s a start. I decided to take a week off from any sort of lifting, but starting up again at home tomorrow. I have a set of resistance bands and purchased a set of adjustable dumbbells on OfferUp today. I got lucky since any sort of dumbbells usually sell within an hour these days. My kids have a play structure I plan on hijacking for pull ups. What is everyone else here doing to keep up on their fitness routines?

Check out Alan Thrall's YouTube channel, he's been posting some home workouts without any equipment required.

We are fortunate enough to have a garage gym. Makes it worth it’s weight in gold in rare times like this.

aZungRXDSEmY32V3e0X1Hw.jpg This is what the available dumbbells look like at the Academy Sports near me. But... Dick's is doing drive-by pick-up, of online orders, so I was able to order olympic sized dumbbells and pick them up in a matter of minutes. In my part of GA, Gold's are still open, but it's only a matter of time. While I was in Academy yesterday, two separate sets of people were buying home gyms. I already had a pretty full setup but only had dumbbells up to 60lbs. Son got sent home from college and wants to keep up with his baseball workouts so needed heavier dumbbells.

The Dicks in my area was cleaned out when I looked online. No dumbbells at all.

Like @Stroke250 said. Garage gym for the win!!! Started building mine over a year ago. It’s complete. Well maybe . Now I just include the kids 5-6 days a week since they are home. Was worth the investment then even more so now.

Also like mentioned above lots of home options being offered from lots of credible sources in different styles. Have seen Pl, BB and I know CF ones too. What’s your style? Maybe I can help with some recommendations.

Improvise for the time being. Go old school. Push-ups, sit-ups, burpees, moutain climbers, planks, pull-ups (if you can [maybe find a tree]) and so on. Different variations of all those to mix it up.

The basement gym is coming in handy now more than ever. About 6 years ago I bought a bunch of gently used equipment from Craiglist, bought a few new things, plus a beach body on demand membership for when I could use some moving along!

Garage gym. Been working out at home for the last 5 years or so. It’s worth it even when gyms are open. I never have to wait on clowns curling in the squat rack and I can blast whatever music I want.

The picture is a but old and we've changed it around a bit but my wife and I split our gym in half. We bought everything over time and figured it was better than constant membership fees and actually making it to the gym.

I curl in the squat rack....but thats because thats where I mount my Spud Inc upper and lower pulley system.

Actually one day I put my air bike in my rack just to trigger people.

Got some resistance bands from Amazon they work pretty well can do many exercise. Already have pull up bar so bands help w different exercise also. Jump rope, run early outside, sit ups, etc. Wished I had a bike or trainer stand.

You probably dont need them all Im good to go with the red & purple so far.

My CrossFit posts the daily workouts, mainly for people that don’t have weights. I workout in a buddy’s garage converted gym with CrossFit stuff.
Just finished this one today in 39 minutes. It sucked.

Tomorrow I’m doing a 1 mile sprint, 100 burpees, and another 1 mile sprint - for time. With apparently a CrossFit games champ. Not really looking forward to getting crushed, but whatever LOL.

I really miss the community CrossFit atmosphere. I joined in October and went every weekday morning (bootcamp) until CovidShit.

    This weekend and last week
