Well, with this nagging shoulder issue I’m going to go ahead and take the next 6 weeks off.
If I keep pushing things I am not going to be able to enjoy the small things in life when I get older (hikes, etc.) due ro aches and pains.
Since I have knee surgery coming up, now may be a good time.
This resting for 6 weeks is going to suck.

    Thoughts?

Rest doesn't mean sitting on the sofa watching soap operas and eating bon bons. You can still do low intensity hikes, walk on a treadmill, etc. during those 6 weeks.

Take the time off, heal. I will even suggest two more weeks, give your body a break.

I need to get an MRI on my knee from a dirt bike crash a month ago. I haven't been able to workout, I am considering selling my dirt bikes all together bc I also want to be able to live pain free as I age.

I can't stand being 100%, besides the knee I have bronchitis. Ain't nobody got time for that.

Don't look at it as a spare tire; more like a personal flotation device. Could be a life saver :D

Since 2010, I’ve never gone more than a week without the gym. This is going to be more of a mental challenge than anything else.

Lol agreed. I thought he has always looked more sickly than anything, especially now a days. I guess he was able to market during the weird 90s at home futness phase lol.

Hahha that reminded me, one of my friend's mom in grade school had one of his plastic calorie window counters. Which sucked when we stayed the night at his place cause she would make a dinner decision based on how many points she had left for the day. Normal parents get pizza or bagel bites for sleep overs. Nope, we got broccoli or some shit all cause she decided to splurge on a hot pocket at lunch.

guess you didn't stay the night often! LOL

Man, I'm a big proponent of clean eating, but shit, you gotta enjoy yourself every once in a while! One pizza, a few donuts, a burger, some cajun fries won't make or break your goals!

leads me to think....why in holy hell would women look at this mook and say "This guy knows what he's talking about"

That's like taking advice from Weinstein on how to treat women!
