    I have an ongoing group text with my family and wifes family. Good way to keep them updated on the grandkids. Also quick easy way to ask questions that involve the family. This is good to go.

    Group text with good friends to bs or whatever is good.

    Group text set up specifically for a certain topic to answer a certain question or coordinate an event is also ok. As soon as it starts getting off topic or turns into a conversation between only a couple then it should be deleted and ignored.
