I just found a 25L vented can. I bought it the second I saw it. It took me 5 minutes to empty my old 20L pos into the truck. Now takes me like 30 seconds to empty my new one wooohooo

Hahah, yeah the government has increased the weight of fuel to prevent you from carrying too much :-/ hahaha

The one I have has a vent that comes out of the top of the spout but still under the very robust latching cap. I'll take a picture if you like. Pours fine, of course the more full it is the more careful you have to be but that falls under Personal Responsibility not some government mandated ISO thing...:poking:

No pic necessary. I've likely already seen it. This thread has forced me to do more research on gas cans. When I next upgrade, I'll look at the jerry cans BECAUSE they are an efficient shape in steel for storing fuel. There's a whole industry devoted to gas cans now.

@BaLLZaCH "Gas can" still acceptable usage in the Republic of Texas. Use "portable fuel container" to a good ole boy in Texas, and a quizzical look could be the your best outcome. :D

The carb-compliant cans are garbage. This is what you get when a bunch of old hippies run the state. :puke:
I found some real deal jerry cans on CL. 2 for $30! :headbang:IMG_2741.jpgIMG_2742.jpg Used it on the Mojave Rd. trip with the BasTRDs. Performed flawlessly.

Mine works great! Like @Moon Puppy said, get a wide funnel. Used to use them all the time when I had my Disco 2.

They work! We used one to transfer fuel on the Rd. As long as you keep the fuel supply higher than the tank you're filling, they're magic! Thanks again to @GodlessPro

Yeeessss...Shaker Siphon. This and a Scribner utility can solves fuel can issues. This is how we do out in the desert, transfer 5 gallons in under 3 minutes. Have a sandwich while waiting then continue hucking trucks.

Try to order a Scribner Utility Jug. That might be more inconspicuous. https://www.amazon.com/Scribner-Pla...lity+can&qid=1556822782&s=gateway&sr=8-8&th=1

Otherwise, call Berts Mega Mall and see if they have any. I'm pretty sure Chapparal in SB will have some.
