    Too many mods to come

Ran the sdhq units on the old mans tundra worked well. But with the new suspension will be removing. No negative feedback since he's had them. They worked great both on pavement and on the dirt

I don't run traction bars but have the road active suspension on AAls. I use it for towing camper. When I gun it back barely moves..... Dedicated traction bars are probably far superior though.

This. RTD needs to go if you want to dial your rig in for how you drive.

I hope to be off the rtd tune in a week or so once I have new injectors. Mpvi3 in my hand as we speak so I can get a readable/editable file over for a tune

I just looked at a log @Grenades4Bacon sent..... If he's on the RTD device is so out of wack it's insane. Can see STFT -20 still trying to take fuel from the LTFT that are already negative! He for sure needs a MAF tune from what I can see with my limited knowledge.

Ironically a datalog he sent me earlier showed the fuel trims actually very dialed hahaha

:rofl:Well shit looks like out of the 5000 datalogged line items I scrolled to a -20 area, not sure where that was at. Just clicking around I found this spot but if this is 1single massive data log overall his LTFTs are close to zero with -7 being the worse haha. @Grenades4Bacon was the excel one single datalog or multiples?

Holy shit that is a lotta data:rofl:. Well at the end of the log your LTFT are within -+2 so I degress..... Lol. Do you have a log in open loop WOT?

With the IC that I've been using most recently, mine reads ~2MPG higher than what's manually calculated. Other ICs that I've used for long durations as the tune has evolved particularly with different injectors, have shown to be consistently....uh, consistent in how far the cluster calculation is off. I want to say, and I could be remembering this part wrong, but I seem to remember that the closer the IC was to stock/original, the more accurate that cluster calculation seemed to be.

Had an interesting issue with a my bypass valve actuator. I pulled vacuum on it with a handheld vacuum pump and it held 10-15"HG perfectly. Let it sit for 5 minutes and zero loss of vacuum. Went to disconnect the line and the gauge blipped, so I started fiddling with things. In short order, I found that gently pushing on the actuator cap or jiggling it would cause the vacuum to disappear. I could give the cap an almost imperceptible twist with less than finger tight tension and the actuator lost vacuum immediately and wouldn't even build vacuum. Do a little twist and jiggle and it hold, then blip, then hold, then drop pressure, then not hold vacuum, and on and on. Bizarre but it looks like I have a bad actuator.

I emailed Whipple about it last night and they sent a new one out today - should be here tomorrow. Good on them.

For those with larger tires or want to adjust shift point in HPT Grant from TRP gave me a excel spreadsheet to adjust shift points. You can enter your gear ratio and tire size and plug in each gear ratio to get your new shift point. Does upshift and downshifts. Hope it helps! I have it in excel and another that works in open source or the like for those that don't have microsoft crap. The site wont let me upload the open source document so if you need that I can email it.

Seems most the inaccuracies come when the truck doesn’t correctly determine “distance driven” due to tire change ect.

Yes ECM sends CAN message relating to fuel injector #1, Cluster uses this data, distance driven (from ABS ecu/wheel speed sensors) and fuel level (direct line resistance from tank) to calculate Avg, Instant Fuel Economy and Range (DTE)

That seems to make sense as many people change tire size and it throws everything off. I'm using the stock tire size, but we've all changed the Injector Constantin our tunes for larger injectors, and that's gotta be throwing off the cluster calculation with the pulse duration of larger injectors being shorter giving the false result of a higher MPG. Thanks for the attachment detailing how each of the other values are calculated. Dig stuff like that.
