I had a quick question I was hoping someone more knowledgeable than me might be able to assist with. I am looking at purchasing some Motegi MR150 Trailites (17” 6x139.7 00mm MR15078568600) for my truck and I was wondering if anyone knew if I would run into any fitment issues with those specific rims. This is my first time looking at new rims for a vehicle so I'm not familiar with backspacing and offset.

Just got an email back from Bilstein:

"we can send only front shocks from 2021 - seems length and mountings are similar, not sure about the damping for 2022 they be available in a year"

    Boooo!

Has anyone else ran into this? I added a RC 1.75” leveling kit today. Went to a local auto shop that does alignments. They said they could not do the alignment due to Toyota not releasing the codes for it? Said it wouldn’t be available for up to a year. So I guess I just have to drive to my Toyota Dealership in a few days. Bummer.

Seems like some places are using 2.5 gen alignment specs, which is pretty close to 2022 specs.
Check this thread: Alignment after lifting

Other option is taking the truck to a competent shop who knows what they doing with a alignment machine and give them the released Toyota Tech Tip wheel alignment specs. If they are a good alignment tech, they should know what to do with these specs.

Wondering if anyone can help but looking for total height of 2022 tundra with 3/1 lift and 34 or 35 tires. Trying to make sure it will fit in garage. Any info would be appreciated if available.

Did you ever find out this wheel and tire set up? I have a wind chill pearl and this set up looks great on white.

Please buy something better than Fuel wheels- they are super heavy and everyone single truck/ suv has them. So many better options

    You spelled “Methods” wrong.

I don’t get the hate on Fuels. I’ll give that they’re heavy, but I see 10x more Methods on vehicles than Fuel. Everyone and their dog has Methods on their setup around me.

Yes. They’re 18” Fuel Vectors at +18mm offset on 295/75/18 tires. I ended up going with different rims and tires but same sizes on both.

At least method is better designed and weights slightly less…. And the majority of their wheels look great, unlike fuel.

    method standards got old fast!

I don't plan on buying fuel wheels. I like the wheel and tire size with that offset though.

People are gonna buy what they want. It's their money. Looks are totally subjective. Weight, unless your building for ultralight (let's say 50-55 lbs per wheel & tire or less), the 5 lbs difference between rims is negligible to performance on a full size truck. Thanks for your opinion your though.

Side note: I don't have Methods or Fuel rims so I don't really have a dog in the fight here. I just thought it was funny that your response to this dude's question about the wheel & tire setup was in no way answering his question.

Your bronze Methods (?) look good though. Nice truck. :)

Honestly, I would spend some time reading through the 2 major threads on this topic. There are a lot, and I do mean a lot of different wheel & tire combinations that people have gone with. Most people have shared their total weight per wheel & tire too.
You have a Limited, but I'm not sure what your package is (TRD OR, Sport, etc). I have a SR5 TRD OR that came with the 18" off-road wheels. My truck's OEM wheel & tire combo weighted in at about 68 lbs per wheel & tire. I'm running 90 lbs per wheel & tire now because I stepped up from 32.5" P-rated tires to 34.5" E 10-ply tires. My wheels are 32 lbs each, but I got them for a song ($100/ea).

I would definitely recommend looking at the weight in total (both wheels & tires). If you're primary concern is weight to preserve gas mileage, what a lot of people in that camp do is go down to 17" wheels & tires. A 17" wheel running 34" or 35" tires will tend to be much lighter than an 18" or 20" running the same tire size. 17" wheels & tires also tend to be cheaper too.

Thanks for the info! I was hoping to get an 18" wheel with a 35" tire or a little smaller. I will leave the suspension stock for right now. I'll poke around the other threads on this topic, thanks again!

my bronze methods only lasted a few months, switched them for bronze icons- unsure which wheel I am going with for my 22, but need to decide this week!

5lbs a wheel does add up though, but those fuel wheels are usually 10+ lbs heavier than other options in the same size. Saving 20lbs of rotating weight is amazing, saving 40 is phenomenal. I am always looking for the best combo of weight, strength and tread pattern.

Hello from Buffalo, NY! I put these Method MR701s on today with 265/70/18 Cooper AT34S tires. I love the way AT tires look on a truck but I drive about 30k miles/yr so I didn’t want something too aggressive. And for ride height, I’d love to drop the truck and inch or 2F06F46D9-C0BF-479C-81DB-0DFB03224E7C.jpg

I agree. Lots of people on this thread are making their trucks look 5-10 years older with these cheap wheels.

A lot of the wheels people are posting look cheap in my opinion. I mean most of them cost less than the tires theyre putting on them, so…

Again, its just my opinion. Id pick basically any stock wheel, maybe besides base, rather than a gaudy Fuel wheel that matches some 17 year olds clapped out 2008 F150. Definitely the wrong thread to voice this opinion but afaik theres no rule against it :notsure:

Agreed, the majority of Fuel wheels (and wheels in general) look like crap and are dated

I guess it all depends on the wheel. I think the Fuel Vector D600 is one of the best looking wheels on the market. However it’s seriously heavy which is why I ruled it out. But still one of the best looking.

New here....first post! Looked through a few pages and didn't find what I was looking for. Maybe someone would be kind enough to re-post if already in the thread. If not maybe point me in the right direction. I'm looking to add the largest tire possible with no lift. Dont want mess with anything on truck other then some pinning of fabric in wheel well if needed. Currently running stock rims and tires. 265/70R18.....Would love to use my same rim and just up size the tire to the max capability. Thanks in Advance! #newbie

From what I’ve gathered, 34s fit 35s might require some trim
