Purchased from fellow forum member that makes the custom harness that allows 2014-2020 Gen 3 Tundra owners to disable traction control and keep tow haul on. This is what everyone calls "Beast Mode" the truck is much faster, this harness is plug and play and makes the process simple.

I ended up not installing it, it is brand new never used. I paid $134 delivered, selling for $100 free shipping to continental US.

This is a thread that explains the benefits of traction control off and tow haul on. The problem is you have to go through a manual sequence of button presses every time you start the truck to activate the feature, this module overrides that and allows the truck to stay in that mode for better performance, throttle repose with faster shifts all the time.

    Hmmm...

is $75 worth not having to do what I do whenever I turn on my truck?

    ...I'm seriously considering

i was doing the tow/haul dance everytime that’s why I bought it. Never got around to installing it…decided to spend more on the “money pit” and go with a tuner, cold air intake who knows if those did anything :)

Toyota could have saved us all time and money by simply adding a sport button, the truck is a diff beast with tow/haul on.

    Let me know…..

I have had that on my truck for at least 3 years and I have no problem at all. When I read the install process I was not crazy with having it on all the time so I put in a hidden switch. If I want it on and I know I will be getting in and out of the truck often starting and stopping it I turn it on. If I don’t want it on or if I am taking it into the dealer for something I turn it off. Never failed except when I first installed it it would not work. Talking with the guy I reprogrammed it for half a second or something stupid longer and it worked. I heard there is a tolerance for the time it takes to hold the button down which is why I had to program mine to hold longer

I think I've seen another thread that talks about this mod, and I'm interested if it's got a toggle switch so I can choose whether or not it's active! I sometimes have learner drivers in my truck and they don't need to taste the full power like that, heheh.
