    Cool you got them on

Looks good. How do you like the feel of the truck? Kind of different but in a good way sitting nice and tall now.

Oh wow just noticed you got did get the TRD PRO rims and them powered coated?

Looking good. What size tires you running and how much of a difference has it made in the ride quality and handling of the truck?

Yeah as far as the Pro suspension goes I couldn’t be any happier, I mean I figured they would ride better than stock but didn’t realize they would make as big of a difference as they did, so smooth... so glad I went that route.

The wheels are actually Landcruiser Heritage edition wheels, they are essentially the BBS Pro wheels just in the bronze color....I was skeptical at first how they would look on my truck but think they fit it perfectly after seeing them on it. Tires are 285/75R18 Goodyear wrangler duratracs.... I also think the 18” wheels and tires with bigger sidewall contribute to the exception ride and handling on the road as well. Smooth is all is can say about the set up

This may seem slightly askew from the standard motivation, buuuuut I'm going to ask. I'm interested in the Fox TRD Pro system for it's potential ride quality improvements on our (local) trashed highway system and secondary roads. I can't claim to off-road this particular truck, but there are plethora gravel and Forest Service roads that are potentially traveled. I'm not necessarily interested in "leveling" or lifting the front of my truck; I don't "need/want" the "extra" ground clearance, but if it's part of the situation, so be it. All this leads up to my question of... is the lift that is the result of installing the Fox TRD Pro front system "built in", or is there a spacer of some nature that could be removed to maintain nearer to my current stock ride height. I've stared at some of the photos of the system, but it's still not clear to me. o_O

    Thanks.

You wont be disappointed if you go that route, same exact reason I got them. The lift I guess is built in, there’s definitely no spacer involved to my knowledge. The lift height got me almost level which is perfect for my needs....I’d say 2” is all your gonna gain

Copy. Did you have your alignment checked? I know that the additional cost compared to the system itself is minor, but it'd be nice to not have to deal with that aspect as I've had one recently enough. But again, it's what it is so the question is asked. Visually, my preference is the stock rake, but to each our own. :)

    Thanks for the feedback!

On the alignment the dealer I had my pro suspension installed at did do an alignment and they told me to drive it a few hundred miles to set the suspension and bring it back in for another free alignment check.

Hey 2019-1794 did they set your fronts with the letter (L) and (R) facing forward with the notch as you look at the shocks from the side?

Also did you ever install or remove the rear swaybar?

    Thanks

I’ll have to double check on the front coil overs , I know they mounted them on the sides that they were supposed to be mounted on as far as left and right. I didn’t have a rear sway bar on mine.

How did you get the LC Heritage BBS wheels? I heard they're exclusive for LC Heritage owners - meaning you need to own a LC Heritage to purchase them from the dealership.

What's the skinny on the speed sensor extender? I don't see how it would be needed...:monocle:

Ordered system before I changed my mind! :spending::bananadead::goingcrazy:

Edit: Gonna skip the speed sensor extender, I can get or make one if I find it applies to my application.

The speed sensor bracket actually just extends the factory non Pro Sensor bracket up.

I have the rear swaybar on my truck so I had to notch one leg of mine.

My local dealer had a set in stock not sure if someone had ordered them and didn’t end up buying or if they were takeoffs...

Yep, I gathered that much, but for some reason I can't seem to recognize why this would be needed. I have the rear sway bar on my truck as well.

I certainly took a gander at that, but I'm not picking up on how changing the rear shock absorbers changes the range of motion of the rear suspension, only the rate. I could see it if lift block were added or the springs were changed out for something with more arch, but...just the shocks?

Ya I was thinking the same thing, but when I went to the dealership and looked at two brand new Pros both had the extension brackets.

I just made mine the same as what’s factory. Also the dealership asked if I had the bracket as well.

Looking good really like the wheel and tire combo. Fills up those wheel wells now.
That’s something I still need to do for mine. The Pro Suspension with the stock Michelin’s is leaving just a little to big of gap for me.
Let me know how the truck handles and corners with the suspension, bigger tires and no rear bar.

Truck drives and handles way better than stock....I think the pro suspension with the lighter weight 18” pro wheels is the perfect combo, probably why they put it on the pros lol.... the larger sidewall tires with the 18” rims plays a big roll to in soaking up extra bumps.... I came from the 20” wheels and it’s night and day better with 18’s

Nice thanks for the info. Yep I need to save up some more $$$ and get my PRO rims and bigger tires.

Out here in bay area Ca the roads are just as bad as going off road half of the time. But yes I did feel a big difference myself as well.

Ya tell me about it. Especially our gas tax out here.

I own a home in AZ as well and when ever I drive out there I wish I had a huge bladder bag in the bed of the truck on top of 38 gal gas tank in the truck. I could probably save few thousand a year just buying gas out of state.

We get taxed on everything out here.

    Why thank you.
The girl friend thought I was nuts, last year I took her to Austin lake Travis, then told her I wanted to take a trip to San Antonio where we went to a Jay Leno show.
However my whole plan was really to get her to Texas so we could take a tour of the Toyota 1794 Ranch and check out the factory. That was cool. She keeps saying that I just had to see where my only child (Tundra) was born.
It was a fun trip. We even got engaged there in Texas.
