I don't. The other manufacturers have a driver's side handle. So, Toyota does not care if the handle hits the passenger in the head?

Very helpful, thank you. Still not clear if the bigger facelift airbag won't be interfered with? Guess that is impossible to say unless someone weighs in that has done the mod and then had an offset crash. The handle is back with the 3rd gen, but I imagine they have superior airbags in that new model that account for that.

Different cab design, unfortunately our gen a pillars aren't as strong as others.

Passenger air bags are always much larger than driver's, as driver's side bag is mounted onto steering wheel, where passenger is mounted on top of glove box.

That video also show how it compares to others.

Wow, Tundra facelift was the worst! And the dummy's head hit the handle, even with the larger side airbag. Food for thought I guess. And the Ridgeline was best. Go figure.

I personally don't think Tundra is worse/worst, but merely others were getting better, unibody will always do better in crash test due to more crumble zones, I believe crash tests is a general indicator, not 100% certain, you can have a vehicle that does well in crash test settings, but terrible in vehicle control.

Oh a side note, I've seen rock sliders actually help with keeping cabs in shape during an accident.
