First Gen Brake Bleeding Advice?

    His brake theory is correct. The FSM describes how to achieve what he is talking about. His description will likely also work as it’s pretty close. If the rears are not adjusted properly, the fronts are doing more work than they should and you get exactly what he describes. Warping rotors and mushy pedal.

    Im about to bleed my brake system as well and thought I’d ask my question here.

    When doing the brake flush, my car needs to be turned completely off, keys out of the ignition correct? (Im pretty sure the answer is yes, but better safe than sorry)

    Not entirely, after bleeding system. if you have abs, switch key to acc. Let the abs pump cycle, push pedal then rebleed system. Or whatever the fsm describes for your vehicle. Often this is not needed for our vintage of vehicle, but check to be certain.
