Nice! I'm glad someone is doing it. But for $325 (which they are selling the 4Runner kit for), i'll just restart my truck for now.

You can change the door lock setting thru Techstream to never lock when running.

    Edit: I was mistaken.

I think the logic to shut it off is an anti theft item.

If it stayed running, and a thief had the correct software, they could plug into your OBD port and an take your truck.

    I'm probably wrong.

    It works.

I feel I should be typing this more excited but It works.

So there will be a few products coming out from a few different companies that have now completed this over likely this month. (Tundra, 4Runner, Tacoma) I can’t say more but don’t jump at who ever releases first, review your options and choose who you feel you like best. I’m just glad they are coming.

Does one company's version differ from another's? reliability is more important for me vs who offers free shipping.

I've spoken with a few now, it will be very public when they release, not much teasing just a release and ready to order from what I am told, as a respect for communications I won't be saying who all I've spoken to, but as we're so close to this coming out, I'm sure there will be an option from every brand for the process. I'm sure many will be very similar.

I'm sure many will have questions for them, including me. I'm waiting on replies to some questions. If anyone buys it please do report back. I know there will be options from others brands coming, so I'll be waiting and looking at all my options. I am not swaying anyone to or away from this specific company, only my personal path is waiting to review options from others to completely understand functionality.

Maybe someone related to accessorides can make their own post on here.

I'm not ready at this moment to add remote start to my '21, but this does tick all the boxes.

Oh yeah, I’m on the train when it’s ready there is one I’m more biased to that isn’t out yet. I won’t say who and maybe I’m wrong but we’ll see real life reviews who has done it the best.

I don’t wanna bash anyone, I know I’m repeating it every post to be as clear as possible.

I am already seeing a difference in implementation between brands and more.

hype trains are 1 thing, results are another. I want to see complete results first.

And then there is the company that is offering remote start for push botton, through your own key fob, and the truck shuts off when you open the door, just like OEM... So basically they are taking your money and giving you nothing. Sad..

After reading the entire thread, the only similar link/video I saw was regarding a Tacoma kit. So I did a tiny bit of internet research, and thought I'd share a link that was specific to the 2021 Tundra. Not sure what new membership has to do with anything??? Cheers.

The link only a few replies above you look at #44.

Now your post it looks to be Accessorides promoting themselves, and I don’t like it on the thread I started if it’s not them being clear about doing so. I could be wrong but if not go make your own and even more so when Ive been given info I choose not to disclose to be fair to other brands and someone Im sure they are all know.

Are you saing that Penberrf, is a shill account for Accessorides? I don't know, but it is odd that you labeled him as a new member when he has been here longer than you. He also has a EGA icon, which requires some verification.

I'm not sure why some profiles say "new member"

I was pointing more towards JsjTundra2 it looks like his account was made only a few days ago on Feb 8.

also edited my comment hopefully that’s more clear.

I was going to let your attitude/ego slide, but since you're calling me out..... Yeah, not a rep for whatever company. Just a guy who has owned a couple Tundras for the past 15 years. Sorry I haven't been here long enough to satisfy you. In general, I enjoy learning and communicating with people on this site. Most aren't as rude or stuck up about how long they've been posting on this site.

    Cheers to everyone!

Like I said I could have been wrong, same like you could have read the replies and simply missed the one with the link already.

Are you buying that one you linked to let us know how it works out?
