    Sound financial advice. :D

Glad we were not responsible for those charges. Dodged a bullet there.

But then you have to walk inside to pay and if you give too much, you have to walk back inside to get your change. That's a lot of walking when you could just be swiping.

Yeah, tell me about it. Especially with our trucks... we can't really top it off. I'm so sick of trying to calculate it but all us small business owners always have cash to get rid of. :(

I had to do two swipes last week because i also filled up my 6 Wavian 5 gal Jerry cans. Man that was brutal! Thought to myself i should charge them for my time spent to do the second swipe!

You bring up a valid point sir; another way to look at the excess walking to and from the store is an added opportunity to reward yourself with sugary and/or salty snacks. I feel as a business owner and a fellow tundra owner it's a win win for humanity.

I always get gas at a place called Fleet Farm. They have a store that sells a little bit of everything, but when you buy anything you get a coupon for 4 cents off per gallon at their gas station. You have to pay inside to use the coupon but the reward for walking inside is a free bag of fresh, buttery, salty popcorn. Plus their mid grade is no ethanol and if you pump 8+ gallons you get a dollar off a carwash...and no limit at the pump.

Fleet Farm is on to something!!...those are all great ideas and I bet it keeps customers coming back. I'm going to mention this during our next franchise meeting; great practice of rewarding customers for their purchases.

It's a pretty cool place! You can get just about anything, hunting and fishing licenses, sporting goods, auto parts, clothing, all matter of farm stuff, building materials, you name it. They even have an auto service center. Locally it's known as the 'Man's Mall' and the slogan is 'if Fleet Farm don't have it, you don't need it'. Plus free popcorn lol.

It's Wisconsin, try and find a place that doesn't have beer. Our church picnic has a beer tent :proposetoast:

You guys are welcome to check out my 1,200 square foot beer cold cave, it's 32 degrees 24/7/365. If we don't have it in there you shouldn't be drinking it... bb2eefbc0a528d68a4d0aa83a7608037_a320e2cd329028c6bbf668ea1e79a5d1280e2628.jpg
