Well you have a little bit of time, so it might be worth a try.

A one way uhaul trailer is probably cheaper than the hit you might take on resell.

So my question here is, does this make fiberwerx better for aftermarket bumpers then? Second question is, who has experience with carbon fiber fenders? We know that fiberglass fenders aren't perfect and have to be "worked" fir a good fit..... is carbon fiber the same way?

With Fiberwerx and McNeil you need custom width bumper. SDHQ and ADV allow the use of a standard width bumper. But, you have to be sure the bumper doesn't wrap around too far. I had the Nfab MRDS and with LT the tires hit the ends of the bumper. I coulda cut the ends off but found a deal on a different bumper.
I believe Fiberwerx is made in Mex? I believe SDHQ is made in Az? SDHQ seems to be better quality but I haven't examined them thoroughly enough to certain.
Fenders and bedsides whether FG or CF are coming outta the same mold so I'd expect the same sucky fitment. CF (as far as I know) requires epoxy resin and fiberglass allows the use of poly or vinylester resin. I'd bet they use polyester resin which is the least desirable.
There are tons and tons of different weaves of fiberglass. My Fiberwerx don't have any high quality weaves in them. On the inside, they look like a thin 6oz. glass over chopped strand (possibly chopper gunned).
CF fenders are 3 times the price of FG but probably worth it compared to doing it yourself.

False in the "copying" that ADV claims as our molds were made locally here in AZ as well as our glass being made locally here in the Phoenix area. It is true that we tried to had Glassworks (formerly back when they were Glassworks as ADV is their new name as of a few years ago) make glass for us. We sent them complete stock besides and fenders to design and build off of. After 8 months of absolutely no progress, we had our stock stuff taken back and sent back to us. We then sourced locally. So how is it copying if we never had their glass to begin with? Dunno. But just wanted to squash rumors.

If I can hit the rewind button, I'd go with SDHQ especially after seeing the pics in this thread.

I'd buy theirs simply based on the post they made above.

In all honesty I don't think I'd do a LT. I love the wide look and really want to stuff 40's under this thing, I have considered just widening what I have though. Outside of hunting and some moderate crawling its going to be a pavement pounder at least it will look good doing it.

    Too many hahahaha
Over the holidays I was shopping for glass myself on my upcoming build. The two names that stuck out for me were Advanced Fiberglass and McNeil. For myself I ended up going with ADV and got them on one there BF deals.
