Ok flashaholics, lumenologists and flashlight aficionados. I am an O-Addict with a “silver bullet” Tundra. I just got a Olight Marauder2. It checks all my boxes, but then I have several other Olight Pro lights. My most used is my Seeker 2 Pro. What lights up your darkest hour?

I wonder why they make two different "Pro" models? :monocle:

Then again, the same thing could be said about the Tundra I suppose

    What an awesome thread!!
Whew...glad to see that at as a grown up there are other dudes out there who still get excited over getting a new flashlight! :)
I seem to have an Amazon twin-pack fettish, I have noticed.
While one of these has made it to my truck, the others are scattered throughout the house for nighttime dog walks, chicken coop visits and pole barn exploration (no electricity out there...).
One is also mounted to my Mossberg 590 in case someone drops in for an unwelcome visit after hours.
Lastly, this 18-wheeler rides in the backseat storage area for special projects....
Mag-Lite 6-cell 'D' monster. Was able to buy it at cost while working for an industrial distributor out of college ~25 years ago...

I learn some great info hanging with you hip young guys. Olight is expensive, but the product is clearly worth the money. All my SureFires have been dropped too many times. I'm down to a HF "free with a coupon" flashlight...and ya'll know how powerful those are. :(

Regrettably, Olight is headquartered in Guangdong, China, and their product is made in China. For me, national origin will be a consideration in all future purchases. Maglite and SureFire are the only two US tactical flashlight brands. :(

Not so true there loyal purchaser.

Malkoff and HDS are pure 'Merica and a small specialty business with peerless lights designed for severe use.

Same with Elzetta and Oveready and a few others.

See...I told you I learn stuff when I hang out with you guys. Let's see the pics. I want to see the rechargeables, I tired of paying OTA for those weird expensive 3V batteries. :D

I forget which one, but I run FENIX everywhere and when camping. I always buy the rechargeable system with CR123 Equivalent (they have USB now) or standard AA. I prefer standard 2XAA flashlights when camping as I usually have a 24 pk of Eneloops with me.

Sorry to make it even worse but all real Tactical Designed lights run on disposable primary batteries.
They work when you load them and can not be forgotten to be charged.

Now many can also be run with rechargeables too but in general it sort of defeats the real purpose somewhat.
