The Pro Comp arms use a high quality FK bearing. Are you doing your own work? Make sure all bolts are torqued to spec. I have 30k miles on these arms including thousands of off road miles. I do my own work and have zero problems. They are a high quality arm built here in California and my alignment guy got my truck driving nice with no problem. A little negative camber is a good thing.

What specs are they trying to align to? A lifted truck with a performance alignment will not be within factory spec. A small amount of negative camber is fine and 3-5* of positive caster is what you want. 1/16-1/8" toe in.

Ok so based on my reaserch so far I’ve screwed up and bought the wrong UCA for my desired application. But since I already have them and don’t exactly feel like buying a new set. Trying to make them work. I’ve gotten 2 alignments so far and still have 6.2* caster. Would like 3-4ish range like the total chaos arms provide. Or even stock geometry and I can bring my coils back down. Truck pulls and drives uncomfortable on road. when I added the uca I adjusted my coil 4 turns for more lift but the rebound stroke is really jarring since the coil is so stiff.(showing about 12 threads)

Is there anyone who is successfully running these Camburg UCAs with decent alignment numbers?

Or am I just out of luck? I have trimmed my inner tie rods 1/4” for more toe adjustment and might try one more alignment. Wanted some feedback here first from you experts. Thanks!!

I purchased a pro comp 6" lift and jba ucas and king c/o for a pro comp 6" lift( not installed yet). I did ask Marlin at jba if the arms will work with the pro comp lift before I bought them. Marlin said they will work with the bds 7" lift so the pro comp should be no problem.

Have you had any rust issues with the bj housing on your JBA's? They're (JBA) doing a recall on arms/bj's sold before 3/15/18, I believe, due to the clear powder coating peeling off and allowing them to rust. They use Cerakote now and they look sweet. The recall swap is free once you return the old bj's to them.

I just checked out those new JBA's. Nice. I'm thinking about getting the SPC's but those JBA's are in my budget range....Almost the same price point.

I say go with the JBA's unless you really want the adjustability of the SPC's. The JBA's are beefier, perform well, look awesome, and good customer service. The ball joints are a breeze to swap out.

Tough choice. ToyTec is minutes away from me and they have the SPC's in stock and do alignments now. Need to find out if the GM at ToyTec can find out if they can get JBA's...

Ah yea, if you're right next to Toytec, I'm sure they have lots of experience with the SPC's.

Bannock452, remove and sell them. I too made the same mistake. I tried running them W/ BDS 4.5" lift and it was waaaayyy too much caster. I have since installed Icons billet with hiem end links. Its a lot better but not 100%. Problem now is trying to find someone that can align the truck with them.... I have asked Icon if they can recommend someone that is familiar with them and they said SoCal Super Trucks does all of there alignments. So, I may be taking a road trip( I am in NorCal) for a simple alignment.

Thanks for the input brotha! Definitely think I’m going to remove them and go back to stock at least for now. No since in waisting my time and effort if they do not work for anyone!
Sorry to hear about your alignment but guess you could make a fun weekend out of it if you wanted!

No I did notice a tiny spot where there was small blemish in the powder coat looked like the arm was nicked but I noticed this when I was at the local powder coater. I want the arms to be close to the same color as my king spring color. If its a powder coat problem I don't think Marlin is going to exchange a set that has had a color change. I did order mine just before the 15 th.

I do have rust starting on both of the balljoints, clearcoat started flaking about a month ago. I am in contact with Marlin now. Apparently they're taking care of this issue. Thanks for the heads up.

Oh did you have yours re-coated? Got any pics? It’s actually the ball joint housing itself (the part that’s not colored from JBA) that has the issue. Takes a few months to show up. But if you just bought them you might not have an issue. Maybe check with JBA and see if you got the Cerakote.

No problem. I’m looking forward to swapping in the new ones this week. My originals look pretty beat up.
