Still pretty busy. With as much ag and oil business as there is here, not much has changed. Except for the fact that ya can’t go out to eat lunch.

We are somewhat essential, kind of on-call essential - site civil contractors. We need to be ready if there is a water main break or some kind of unforeseen road or bridge failure so we keep working even on non-essential projects. The field crews are practicing social distancing by staying in their equipment most of the time. The office guys are working from home with site visits only as needed.

 

Industrial plumber/fitter but been on disability since Jan. Shoulder surgery was supposed to be mid-April and obviously postponed until they have a better handle on this virus. Benefits expire in july but SSDI covers me until the end of the year. Not stressing yet but have heard many job sites are closing up so glad we have guaranteed income at least for a little while

I am a paramedic and registered nurse, so defiantly an essential employee!

We have to switch out florescent lights for led lights. That's essential right? .

 

Swapping old lights out for LEDs is only essential for trucks.

 

Not sure that you meant to do that. But if you did, it's understandable.

The company I work for has developed, and hoping to mass produce a simplified breathing device. All this has happened over the last week.

I'm a pharmacy tech in Big Sky, Montana which at this point means I'm giving all of our limited resources to people from New York and California because they want to "hideout" here. Our county also has the highest (by far) cases than any other county in Montana. I wonder why...

I work in the security industry. We support hospitals, airports, Municipal facilities, blood banks, and anybody else that wants to feel safe against bad people

Apparently I am an essential employee- sell boats and ATVs and we have NOT closed even though the VA governor has issued a stay at home directive.
Company is greedy.

 

I see people saying this a lot, but you have a job and are still brining in money for you and your family. A lot of people are not as fortunate right now.
