    How hard was the install?

It was easy. The nice thing is you don’t have to swap the coil springs. Pull stock coil over/shock out, put the new setup in.

    Working on it :-)
Not to bad. The hardest part for me was the Diff. drop kit. Gave me some trouble.

Really got my eye on this kit in the future when I replace my stock shocks.

Good to know. I have never attempted any project like this but really want this kit!
Awesome - thanks for the info. I definitely like the fact the coil over/shock comes assembled. Might have to pull the trigger on this setup before long.

Good info thank you. I have a co-worker looking at this set up. He doesn't do much off-roading if any but wants a good value lift that is not a spacer lift.

    Update here:

Still very happy with my Eibach/Toytec coilovers. I do keep them coated with Fluid Film since I noticed just a little corrosion on the lower drivers side shock assembly. I have done some mild wheeling and dirt road cruising, still very happy with the ride quality over stock TRD bilsteins. I have put about 6k miles on them, many of them on road trips pulling the toyhauler. No issues to report, just a solid replacement part.

I do have 2 CB shims on the drivers side, I did this about 4-6 months after my initial install. I will save you some time and recommend that you install 1-2 CB shims at the time of install. These are also easy and cheap, they sit right on top of the coilover assembly, no shock disassembly required. I gave it a few months after install to see if the "lean" would level out, if anything it got worse after everything settled in. My truck is a 2010, about to hit 70k miles, 2 shims on the drivers side leveled the truck perfectly.

New to the site. Have read a lot of great things about this setup, but has anyone tried the lower notch setting? I want to raise the front end of my truck about 2".

I just had this lift installed last week, and added Nitto Ridge Grapplers 35”x 11 tires, and went to the Oregon desert for a week. Very nice ride on and off pavement, soakes up the bumps well

Awesome RIDE Brother!!! I installed the Eibach 3/1.5 as well and love it and now researching wheels and tires. Was wondering what your wheel offset is? size of wheel? Also did you have to trim anything so it will not rub at full lock. Thanks in advance!

The wheels are 18 inches, not sure on the offset I’ve had the wheels for 4 years on the truck. I went with the 11 inch wide tires hoping that I wouldn’t get any rub, but did have to remove the lower front mudflaps and the rear front mudflaps I’ll have to modify the rear ones. Still getting a slight rub off the road front of the fender and the body mount but it’s not bad

Had some time today to install the lower poly bushings for the shackles in the leaf springs.

@csuviper do you have a pic of your lower bushings torqued at a similar angle? I found your other pics but not close enough to see the bushing. Both upper and lower are torqued to 77ft lbs. The lower bushings are compressed more and it seems with poly that is not ideal?

i had the same issue. i was 1" lower on the front drivers side. i used two 1/4" shims and that fixed it. other than that, i have been very pleased.

Have you guys noticed a ride difference with adding the shims vs not shims? Curious also how these will hold up with a whinch/bumper combo

Stock for now, but have TRD Rear Sway bar for it.
Are those the stock 20" wheels just powder coated black. I am thinking this same tire on my wheels.

How does this set up compare to 6112/5160 lift? I’m on the fence between the two options. Any benefits to either system other than price?

They are the stock black 20” wheels.

Hey guys, new member here! I purchased the Toytec/Eibach 3” lift coilovers with the Toytec Boss rear shocks and I want to add 2 shims to my driver’s side to correct the lean but I was told I do not have enough through on the 4 studs at the top mount. Has anybody else had that issue? TIA!

    Working on it :-)
I ordered one for my driver side with my Toytec/Eibach setup. When I received it was built into the Coilover. Not sure if this is normal but made no difference on the 4 top studs.

I didn’t have to add anything as mine didn’t have a lean. I’d be willing to bet one will do.

Yeah, I may have to roll with just one. There is almost a 1” difference from driver side to passenger side though. I guess with one shim I can at least cut that down to a .5” difference. I appreciate the help guys.

Bout to check into. Hope I don't get sticker shock. This started out as a 'cheap' upgrade.

Seriuosly looking at this set up, i assume those that did the suspension lift they also did the transfer case drop?
Question: if the lift aligns correctly, camber & caster, why would you want to change the UCA?
    Thanks

3" front lift is borderline and different from truck-to-truck, you may or may not be able to get alignment numbers that you are happy with. Many get close, but many also sacrifice a few degrees from one measurement to help another fall into spec.

Diff drop, yes. You'll wear your CV's without it.

I was afraid of that. My only issue with changing UCA’s is longevity as compared to OEM in a daily driver. Need to research UCA’s
    Thanks
