Generally, a piggyback allows a higher flow rate through the connecting tube than through the hose on a remote reservoir if you have room go piggy back vs remove, but honestly we are not racing makes little difference, piggy back is what is spec for LT

    also

shocks with the reservoir port off the bottom allow for more consistent compression performance.

under heavy compression the piston will travel faster than the oil can flow through the valving, causing vapor separation. when the reservoir comes off the top the piston will actually move the IFP before the nitrogen pressure is enough to force the oil through the valving. when the reservoir mount comes off the bottom you are pushing against the top cap, which is solid all of the time.

I built it like that on purpose in order to keep my center of gravity low...

Some people can't understand how important that is ;)

It’s important, but your low is one better, your not killing your bed:thumbsup:. Stock rear frame is spaghetti, bed is designed to flex with it, now bolt a big ass rigid spiderweb looking rack to it. Congratulations, you turned your bed into a bushing, it’s not.

Yes exactly. I have nothing attached to my bedsides. All my gear is strapped down to aircraft seat track which distributes the weight along the bed floor. Plus my bed floor is secured at all four corners to the frame with the bedcage. Also, my frame is boxed up to the reinforced center section. It's super beefy and I've had zero structural problems

Thanks buddy. I just stayed away from the politics on the interwebs :crapstorm: (LOL) and went with what makes sense for how I want to wheel my truck. Then took the truck wheeling and made improvements based off of what else I would like to do with my truck. LT setup doesn't make sense for me, but LT setup would be awesome! I daily drive my truck and the trails in NorCal are a bit tight for a LT setup.

You can't go wrong with King. A group buy for ADS got me started on ADS shocks. I've been impressed with the setup so far.

    Sick LT setup!

I don’t have the stock hitch anymore but correct, my bed issues started when it was still there. And everyone that looked at my bed asked if I was carrying a lot of weight on the bedsides.

So much false info in here. Like people who say Kings dont go clickity clack. I guess if you count how often they get stuck and stop working than maybe they can be pretty quiet. But just to be sure, here is some Kings driving down the Highway.

Come over to the real dark side LT with 3.0s. Getting ready to add 3.0 coilovers to my truck as well. And I tow all the time with LT rear. Sometimes its squatted to all hell, but it still pulls the hills at 85mph without thinking twice. Oh and I don't have sway bars either cause I like to live on the edge.

Come on Matt let’s be real.... my Kings in front don’t make a sound my ads in the rear do.... that all being said. They are still awesome! So far my ads rear mid travel has kept up w my fronts 95% of the time. That’s pretty good considering. No one is downplaying ads quality. You posted a vid of some Kings that clearly need a service.... I’ve never heard Kong’s clack and click like that.

And as far as 3.0 I’m the front I’m good my 2.5 coils and bypass do just fine. The limit for them is far beyond my driving skill or ball size... so no need for me.

And good to know on towing... I also run 0 Sway bars.

My King 3.0 bypasses upfront don't make noises like that for sure. My suspension squeaks sometimes which is annoying and I can hear what I'm thinking is the shocks compressing but not that clickity clack

I don't. Just have to figure out what exactly is actually clicking. A couple of my buddy's mentioned these noises-i just don't really pay attention. To be honest over time, you know we will get rattles and squeaks and probably an assortment of noises from different components anyways. I guess its up to you what you consider tolerable.
