Well, it’s like the equivalent for you to go into your bosses office tomorrow and tell him to F off and he should suck your ass. Then see how it goes.

He went full retard...and I mean just that.

Make it happen captain. You won’t regret it.
Indeed. I realized that my build was too run of the mill. Jk. I wanted to link the rear and they talked me into the front. Hahaha.
Any trail a MT tundra can go on, I can go on. I just get deeper scratches. Hahaha.

Well this thread has gone in all different directions.

My advice to you is this:

Experience all this for yourself. All you need is to find some local people with different setups.
Go take passenger seat to all the suspension/lifted trucks you’re interested in.

One thing is for certain, the off road and Toyota groups are very open and willing to share and help a brother out.

I’m a rock crawler builder that specifically builds for this kind of terrain. I can’t even play where even a TRD Pro is designed to be. Same goes visa versa.

I’m guessing you build jeeps for that use case based on your handle. Or did you mod your Tundra to crawl?

That looks dangerous. My wife won’t let me do stuff like that. Good thing the Tundra can’t do it anyways. There aren’t enough lockers in the world to get a Tundra up that. Hahaha.

To get this back on track, looks like I’m upgrading to 3.0 triples with piggybacks in the rear since they’re totally bolt on. Front secondaries will be be 2.5 triples with remote resis since the piggybacks won’t fit with my Kinetik arms. I need to call Joey tomorrow and finalize everything then it’ll be time to call Alcan.

I’ll be interested to hear your thoughts with the 3.0’s. I put the 3.0 Icons coilivers in my Land Cruiser and they feel great but they didn’t have a rear 3.0 for me.

Legends tell of a great 2wd-er who kept up with the 4wd guys

I did, it was a great truck that led to lifelong friends, stories and memories.

Yup, i'd have to take the strap occasionally, i usually tried the skinny pedal to the floor technique first but sometimes i'd just be stuck like chuck

    i did super-ok

did you go to the meet up also?

We need to do it again. There's whiskey that needs to be drank/drunk.. drinken? idfk..

now i'm kind of intrigued... do you also go to the midgest-do-porn.com conventions?

    that was epic lmfao

so, that was some freak shit... i was hauling ass 60mph we're in a convoy and all of a sudden my truck just slows to a stop and sinks in... it was like quick sand or some shit.

Full disclosure, I don't know @dragos28 at all, never met the dude. But.. I've heard great stories of the man that rolled his truck and lived to tell about it. I'm just here for the details of that story. :anonymous:

You could do peligreen with LT, yeah deeper scratches in your fenders. The only limiting thing for LT that I can think of is tight trees.
