LOL. Just to clarify, I didn't spray him to spray him. I was doing donuts while waiting for them. Then Presley pulls up and pulls out his phone and says do it again. So I did. :notsure:

Zach wasn't referring to the camburg relocation kit, he was referring to the king bypasses. Maybe you should go re read his post. He said the king 3.0 bolt in bypasses would get more travel with deavers and shackles which is not true.

I'm not spreading misinformation, that is exactly what happened to those shocks, but I forget, you are the shock god.

Ive already explained what happened with Dragos shock, if other people have had shocks fall off than no one has informed me of it. How am I supposed to fix something if no one ever informs me. I have plenty of customers that have had years of trouble free service.

You are spreading misinformation. I prove it every time I do a run that there is nothing wrong with running large valve stacks with low flow pistons on a 2.5 Fox.

and Dragos shock is easy to explain. Its the same problem that is happening to everyone elses shocks. They rotate and interfere. then they either break and fall off or get bent to shit. You know there is a problem, yet you sell them anyways. You've been doing it for years. I won't name names because maybe these guys don't want to argue about it on a public forum. But they all send me PMs to bitch about your crappy shocks and SUPER crappy service.

Here is the most recent example of someone complaining about your garbage:

I have ADS in the rear, only one rear has rotated a bit after the install of my leaf's and I believe it was the shops fault as I found other things that I wouldn't let a vehicle pass inspection. Everything should be re-checked after a few runs anways.

He didn't say what it made contact with. He was hot under the collar and blaming it on ADS. But ADS is blaming it on Matt specs...

I can't say for certain what the exact problem is. But I know 5 or 6 guys over the years that have all had problems and two of those guys had catastrophic failures.

I seen a handful of people have this issue. Same with the Icon RXT's from sdhq. Seems to be hitting the banjo bolt or somewhere on the caliper.
I'm installing my setup this weekend. Most people told me to rotate it away as I install and tighten everything up. I am gonna try that and flex test left/right sides and see if they will potentially rotate back towards the caliper.

What do other rear shocks have that prevent rotation that the ADS don’t have?

Icon fixed ours. They clocked the manifold. Solution wasn’t to tighten the shit out of it and pray it doesn’t rotate. That’s just ridiculous.

I think SDHQ had a temp fix for the RXT bypass. it was a rubber washer or something.
@joonbug was lucky to send his out and get it corrected. I haven't seen any temp fixes for the ADS, or any diy solution for the issues.

What we found is as the pads wear out on the caliper, the caliper naturally slides inwards and when the pads wear down to the end, depending on how the shock is sitting it may end up with an interference. It's happened to 2 customers that I am aware of, and we have remedied the situation for them and also made some updates to the shocks.

The bypass tube can hit the banjo bolt on the right side. But aligned correctly and tightened down it doesn't tend to rotate. At least not on my truck. Yep, gotta check it, just like everything else on the truck after wheeling. And, I'd never consider heading off road w/o tools. Usually they get used on someone else's truck though.

So I don't need to keep em rotated away as I am installing? or best to do so as a precaution?

What I find strange though is they market something like 1k miles verification or something of that nature....why did they not come across any issues? What about the consumer install/use differ from their testing that created the issue?

Upper mount. It's not "holy batshit" tight. I just tightened 'til it was difficult for me to rotate.

The 1k testing wasn’t done on the RXT omegas. I believe it was the non-Omega RXTs.
