Simply making a reply to someone else who said fox was the only low or no flow, technically speaking looks like other people can do the same thing? Thats all I was trying to comment on. As mentioned, plenty know more than I - just noting something I came across .

I don't know what the hell you are talking about. I revalved twice, then switched to low flow pistons. Then changed the coils when I found out I was binding. How is that an art and how are 3.0 "easier"?

So you want us to debate this thing all over again??

    Ok.

    I turned my clickers.

That seems easier than revalving twice, changing pistons once and springs once.

To be fair, and I keep saying it, you blazed some new territory for us. If the technology had been different when you started your build, you may have gone another way. If 3.0 weren’t available when we started ours, we’d be tuning 2.5s like you have.

3.0 have been around a long time. If I had to build my truck all over again starting today, I'd put the exact same shocks on it.

And turning clickers is not the same thing as proper valving. You crazy leave me alone

A little of this and a little of that. Its pretty run of the mill.
I’ve never taken a drive in Kevin’s truck but I have gone on a ride along with Alex. His truck is tits. And everything under his hood seems to stay in place. His hood on the other hand...

camburg was good to me and replaced the mount i broke, since then the set up has been tittttties....take home points

stiffer valving required do to shock angle(im running an 18 stack on compression, i believe it came with a 12 from king) just order it this way from the get go, king wills hip them with w.e valving you request. i highly recommend down south motorsports, those guys were awesome and gave me recommendations

id do bumps in the rear before id do bumps in the front(if cost is an issue), and super bumps up front and hydros in the rear is def a good set up..i think my hydros up front are overkill but i have nothing to compare to..if you get your bypass valving spot on you shouldnt really need bumps in the front

the camburg set up is cheap but the cost of fabrication isnt..welding upper and lower shock mounts, cycling, bumping etc. king now has the bolt in 3.0 triple bypass option, king says with stock leafs you get 11in, so im sure with deavers/shackles youre at about 12.5in if i had to guess. im at 14 with the camburg set up..im not sure if the extra time and money for fab is worth the extra 1.5in of travel...at the time it was kind of the only option besides ADS. if i had todo it again, id probably jsut do the 3.0 triple. i dont think you will notice a performance difference in these setups..but the 3.0 bolt in option you can do in your driveway in 45mins..my truck as at the fab shop for a week

Thx homie!! It was custom built to my truck. Had to modify the lower body crossmember and relocate the steering pump cooler in order to stuff the winch in tight to the radiator. Everything is welded to the frame and connected in multiple places. Frame horn is double walled and the lower frame crossmember is reinforced for big hits

For what's it’s worth whoever is interested Camburg quoted me $4200 out the door (I.e. all parts +install) for their relocation. That’s everything minus the leafs which I already have

The king 3.0s with deavers will get less travel than with stock springs. The extra stack height of the springs will limit the uptravel and the extended length of the shock will still be the same. So it loses travel.

The low flow pistons are something different. They have smaller ports on the pistons to limit the amount of fluid they can flow. The danger with that is if the shaft speed exceeds the ability of the amount of fluid the piston can flow it will hydrolock the shock which is what happened on the ones I posted.

What I don’t get is why someone couldnt just order King shocks with the same specs as the ADS? Why is ADS the only option for deaver spec shocks.

Because I'm the only one that makes the effort to cycle the set up and have shocks made to spec. And ADS is my choice brand based on their quality.

Why not do fox or king rear bypasses. Lotta people like myself would jump on foxes if someone sold them to match the front.

It's hard enough to get fox to answer the phone when you need replacement parts, let alone a custom shock. Unless you have huge contract to offer like Ford or Polaris, they don't care. 10 yrs ago I would have been interested in dealing with King, but their quality isn't what it used to be, and they wouldn't give me the time of day when I first opened my shop. Down south would sell to the public cheaper than King would sell to me with a shop.

Quality wise, ADS has alot of nice features, they have also always been there to help me with my ideas, so that's who I continue to work with. I've built trucks with King, Fox, ADS, Icon, Donahoe, FOAs, Yarnell, Bilstein, Radflo, Sway A Way, etc. I've also had most of these on personal trucks over the last 16 yrs. When King wouldn't give my customer the time of day to tune his truck, ADS spent hours in Glamis tuning his Kings for him.

There is plenty of Fanbois in here that will tell you what is on their truck is the best, plenty of people that will only buy what they consider name brand, I can't win them all. I'm also not going to beg companies to work with me. I have my opinion on what quality is, and ADS meets those standards and I'm content working with them exclusively.

Do you even read posts before you answer? Zak has a camburg shock relocation kit and he's getting 14" travel with his kings and deavers

This is simply not true. Something wasn't done right and thats why those shafts bent. I'm running low flow pistons with modified #120 stack (top out deleted and minor change to the last shim) and I haven't had any problems

there are plenty of videos of me jumping and running big whoops. I've bottomed out these shocks plenty of times on some really big oh shit hits.

    Stop spreading misinformation

Are you ever going to start telling people that these shocks interfere and fall off of people's trucks because you didn't set them up properly?? I personally know several people that have had your ADS's fail.
