The driver's seat back in my truck is a problem or am I imagining it?

When braking (a bit harder than normal), the seat back moves forward (or at least it feels that way). A few times, I've braced my left foot on the floor.

Asked the dealer - they tell me it is something mechanical in the seat back (lumbar shit or something), normal to Toyota, and nothing is wrong with it.

I think someone is BSing me but would welcome any and all comments.

Check your seat mounts under the seat. If the rear ones are loose the see would be able to tip forward a bit.

Outside the truck, if you grab the seat back and pull it forward does it move?

Never had that problem with 5 Tundras and two of the daughter’s Tundras. Never had that problem and never heard of it?

They are tight - first thing I checked.

When pulling the seat back, it moves, makes a popping sound (there's another thread on here of other posters complaining about it).
