    I would go with a locking door over cap, the caps are too easy to get into with any key that can fit, I've lost keys to locking caps and it takes me roughly 10 seconds to get one off with very little effort. I'm trying to think of cable pop latch or electronic magnet latch. Does anyone know if the Sequoia uses a cable latch?

    2nd gen Sequoias don't and I haven't found a locking door made for them either. I need to replace my OEM door in either case.

    I just took your advice and lowered comprehensive deductible to zero as well as added rental car reimbursement. Total addition to premium for 6 months was $52.08 from State Farm. For under $9 a month I will sleep much better!

    300 hectares on single tank of kerosene
    I bought a Doorman cap, it was okay for about a week, then my CEL came on. Ditched the Doorman cap and bought a Stant cap, works great.

    Now I live in a much better state and I am thankful I no longer need my locking gas cap.

    I have the same one, you can easily pop the hinge with a small pry tool. Of course it will be trash afterwards. A locksmith can make you a key, might want to get two though. Good luck!

    Just recieved that standard compartment door key from Amazon I linked in my post above and it worked! Phew... And yes definetly keeping this spare one safe this time. I was only at a 1/4 tank left haha.
