OK, so my routine when eating breakfast at a restaurant is this:

I eat hashbrowns (or whatever potato is offered) first, then the eggs. Eat the toast (soaking up egg yolk). Then whatever meat I have chosen (usually Ham, occasionally bacon, rarely sausage). If I have a pancake, that goes last.

Most other meals I don't have such a set routine, however I will save at least half of whatever I like best for last (usually the meat).

I started this thread for fun, because most people have that thing they do... but now I'm getting concerned I might actually be weird. :pout:

I'm the opposite. Meat on the bottom and veggies on top. The tomato must touch the mayo

How about Parmesan cheese on white rice Or just any type of pasta? Nothing else on the rice or pasta. Or chocolate sauce on Cheerios with a banana? Taking the crust off of Several slices of fresh bread (and eat it) but then wad the bread into a ball about the size of an orange and then eat it! French bread is best!

By the way, I was back in Arkansas for the first time since 1986 a couple of weeks ago. We moved my daughter to Texarkana and I insisted we stay the night on the Arkansas side.

One of the guys I was stationed with is the only person I've ever met from Arkansas. We spent 3 years on the cutter making fun of each other's accents and drinking coffee together. Good times..

Literally just a mile or so in. She graduated college in the spring and landed a teaching job in the area. I’ll also be in Memphis next week. It’s a little over an hour from my birthplace. If I have time I may run over there just to look around. We left Arkansas when I was 3, and besides a quick trip we took when I was 10 I haven’t been back.

Just remembered the mental checklist I go through when getting dressed or before leaving somewhere to make sure I have everything:

    1. Phone
    2. Keys
    3. Wallet
    4. Belt
    5 & 6. Personal stuff
    7. Glasses
    8. Watch and iron ring
    9. Work ID card (if going to work)

I find myself counting everything , spokes on wheels , lug nuts , different makes of vehicles on the road etc etc ...
I also like everything to be an even number ie: bites of food, mouthfuls of water , volume on the radio etc etc ...

I'm with you on some if those too @Lovetrucks cuz I like to count stuff. Ever since I learned a few weeks ago.

Also discovered a few others while driving. I enjoy seeing the "cool/unique" numbering on the odometers. Like 5000, 12121, 54321, etc. I actually get a lil upset over some. But ones like 55555 or 54321 REALLY upset me to miss.
Also remembered that when changing lanes on the interstate or highway, I try not to hit the reflectors. When I do, I'm a lil disappointed and feel like I should have done better. When I got new tires(wider and taller), it was/is an adjustment

I do the personal pat down before heading out the door too. I do ir when leaving places we've spent time at like restaurants or friends houses.

Wallet, phone, knife, keys, watch, sunglasses, hat. That order, every single time and every thing goes in the same pockets.

Wallet front left, phone front right, knife clipped to inside of front right, keys on front right belt loop, watch on left wrist,

Phone left front pants pocket, keys and work ID right front pants pocket, wallet left rear pants pocket, watch right wrist.

I hate those athletic shorts that only have one pocket.

Only carry a knife/ multi tool while camping. Hat is on my head or on my knee if eating so I'm not likely to forget it. Sunglasses are a one off but I typically leave them on the table so I'll see and grab them when I leave.

I'm also particular about what goes in which pocket. Phones in back right, keys/wallet/knife in back left, work key card hooked on the front left belt loop. I HATE carrying a purse, even saying the word makes me cringe for some reason, so finding women's clothing that actually has pockets is a must

I remembered a quirk tonight, not of my own, but of my dogs. When we walk or run with them in the neighborhood, we always walk on the left side of the road. Now when we take them on a trail of any type, they expect hikers and other traffic to pass on the right so they can stay to the left!

I have a borderline obsession with knives and compact tactical flashlights. I've close to a dozen flashlights, mostly Fenix and a couple Streamights, 6 or 7 Benchmade knives and a couple of Spydercos. And then there are the kitchen knives....pretty sure I have a problem.

I've visited both but have intentionally never registered at either. Doing so to keep spending in check would be like coming here to make sure your Tundra stays stock.

Only a dozen sounds normal to me I have probably 6 in the truck alone but mine aren’t the real expensive ones like you’re talking about. I probably have over 2 dozen between vehicles, barn, and house.

I am weird with pickles. I can crack a jar of whole dill pickles and eat them just fine, but I don't like the spears or chips. Also, pickles never go on or in anything, because anything they are put on will taste like nothing but pickles. Even if you take them off, it tastes like pickles.
