The other day when I was driving back from LA to SF I was behind these 2 girls in a BMW and Audi. I was behind them for maybe 200 miles starting from the Grapevine till they went to a different highway and I had to continue north. Stayed behind them because their speed was just right, consistent, and they passed all manner of cars. Anyway, at one point we all went to pass a slower vehicle and I ended up in the middle. So I moved over to allow the other girl back into the middle.

Yea but what about her quirks? Which fries does she steal from you? Or is she some kind of animal and just grabs a handful?

I do this too but not deliberately. I just love food and only eat when I'm hungry so I generally gobble my meal then realise I'm thirsty.

Absolutely. But you didn't mention that the type of mustard matters. Brats and beer mustard for brats. Spicy brown for deli. Yellow for burgers and dogs.
And the dogs can only have mustard, onions and chili. Dijon is ok for pork, but who would put anything but eastern Carolina style sauce on pork:notsure:

I do homemade hot mustard (not made by me), beer mustard from the farmer's market or store-bought honey mustard on pretty much everything. Dijon in mac and cheese. Not a fan of yellow mustard.

For me the order has to be bottom bun, mayo/mustard, veggies, burger, cheese, top bun. If I'm at a burger joint and they assemble it differently, I tear it down and rebuild to my specifications.

It's pretty much the same blueprint for sandwiches, except if I'm using mayo it goes on both top and bottom slice of bread.

Interesting. I can't eat without having water to drink. I drink a full size mason jar of water or Naglene bottle with each meal. That's roughly 32oz of water with each meal. When we go to restaurants, I ask for a pitcher of water since I don't like waiting for the waitress to wander around and refill my glass.

I also drink at least 1 full Nalgene bottle in an 8 hour work day and if it's hot, that'll become 2 bottles. 32 - 64 oz of water + another 96oz spread between my three meals.

Holy shit. I drink alot of water. I've never added up the numbers. :D

I have to drink something. Mainly because I don’t chew much. Also I tend to eat very spicy things.

You forgot cheese on the hot dogs. You can have a chili dog and if you do it must have onions and cheddar cheese. A hot dog may have mustard on it, but not on a chili dog. No mustard is allowed on a chili dog.

So many of these i relate to.

Cash, i wont move til its all sorted properly and put in order without issue. Everything has a process and an order.

Dreams, its extremely rare for me to remember anything from the nights sleep.

    My biggest and weirdest issue.....

SOCKS!!!! When you 1st wear a pair of socks your toes make an impression in them. At that point they become a L and R. After washing, if you look at toes they will have a slant based on what foot you wore them on. From then on, thats what foot they get worn on.

i've read this whole thread, and thought i was quirky (for example, after i take socks off, they go straight to the hamper regardless of how long i've been wearing them. Even if i put on low socks in the morning, then remember i have to cut the grass that day, so i change to higher socks for my boots, the low ones go right in the hamper after being worn for 5 seconds. A trip to the pool or beach could result in a 5-pair-day. My wife hates me. Edit: I should mention that i dont wear sandals - perhaps another quirk - but it's socks and tennis shoes unless boots. even to the pool).
That said - righty/lefty socks are bonkers!!!!!! :)

The big toe stretches out one side so when you wear it again it bunches on the pinky toe if on the wrong foot.

    For me, it's like this:

Burgers: bottom bun, mustard, burger (with bbq sauce on while grilling) cheese, lettuce, onion, tomato, relish (if using), mayo, top bun.

Sandwiches: bottom bread, mayo, mustard, meat, cheese, lettuce, any other veggies, tomato, mayo, top bread.

I don’t really worry about food touching but I eat all of one item at a time
Usually goes meat, veggies, starch then if I have salad I eat it last

One of many that I have. I can't walk in wet grass, bare footed. Don't like any wet floor bare footed. Wife says I have sensory issues which is a real thing. She's got degree's to back her up. I have too many quirks to list.

Super simple. Press hamburger onto 1/2 a corn tortilla, season (we use garlic powder and oregano), fry in oil turning once until cooked. Serve with shredded cheese, lettuce, and salsa.

New way the wife does it sometimes for camping is to par-fry the hamburger part so she can freeze in a bag for the camping trip, then defrost, put in shell and finish frying. Might be a good way to try if you are worried about making sure the burger part is cooked without burning the shell. Although I prefer the 1st way, just takes a little trial and error to get doneness perfect, but will be good regardless.

My weirdest one is that I’m asian and incapable of using chopsticks. Well, technically I can, but for no more than 2 minutes. Hurts my carpal tunnel.

Ever seen an asian eat sushi with a fork? Right here.

It must be an Austin thing! I check out registration stickers too. I will let someone know their tags are expired. Probably since I was a mechanic. But! It shows the probability of no insurance coverage. Have to have insurance and state inspection to get your tags.

I had this thing as a kid. I had a speedometer on my bike. I used to look into cars to see how many miles were on it.

I keep my tools cleaner than the house. Everything in the drawers is not organized but I can tell you exactly which drawer what is stored and which box it’s in. If it came in a box with a blow mold box, it goes back into the blow mold box and back into the card board box and stored in a wall cabinet. My wife says you keep the garage cleaner than the house. I tell her it’s my spot.
