Glad to see you were able to make some customizations to make the 5.5' system work with your 6.5' bed. We normally do not suggest this as you are well aware it requires better tie down points but looks great either way!

I like the way you made "Lemonade" here!
I would probably have one of these systems if there was one for the Long Bed truck.

Could always do the same thing I did, but for you 6.5ft system in 8ft bed. I just bolted 3/8” eye bolts through the bed wall with doubled up large fender washers, a lock washer, and a lock nut. Used the supplied j-hooks to secure it so no modification of the system was needed

I am not worried that I wouldn't be able to mount it,I am not wanting to waste that much space.

This system seems to waste space even when you install one where it is designed to as the drawers are all the same size it seems and them the rest is just empty filler. If I add to that the extra foot and 1/2 of dead space I am not sure that I could live with myself!
If I make it open in the front like you did then it is tough to reach and if I make it i the rear I don't think I could ever reach it past the Tailgate!

I understand the idea and they way they have to manufacture for them to be realistic for sales considering that there are not many of us left who require a Long Bed it seems.

So in my 2001 Tundra I have a Cap with French Doors and though its a Long Bed too you start off the tailgate distance closer to the bed which would let something like this work for me.

But until I order a new pricey Cap with French Doors I am just going to have to live with 8' drawers that I build it looks like?

I got it all together except for one wheel after you put the drawers in. I'm going to try again tomorrow. Love the system though. Can't wait to get it all organized.

There is always the one wheel of doom that won’t go in. It is put there by @DECKEDUSA to test your patience and mental fortitude.

Find something that you can wedge under the drawer itself to act like a large shim that holds up the drawer high enough to allow the bolt to line up with the threads. Then you don’t need four hands to do it anymore.

Which LED bed lights do you need help with? Are you referencing the @mattgecko bed light kit that wraps around the bed under the rails? Or something else?

Sorry these. Read somewhere that due to the height of the decked system you would have to modify them to make it work with those lights.

Sorry. Modular bed rails. @Zero One Actual Screenshot_20200527-055830.jpg Screenshot_20200527-055825.jpg

Just by looking at the pic it seems that if I mount just the same upper piece it will work. Just want to be sure.

    Thanks

Oh oh oh. You mean.....these? @DECKEDUSA and @ragofabrication both did an amazing job on their products.

Heck yes they work. I have a Leitner Designs cargo system on my truck so the side rails are not available to me. But I left my horizontal rail installed for this exact mod and it works perfectly. Sorry for the wet pics. I just got done working out.

@DECKEDUSA Would 9' ramps work for loading an ATV onto the top of the system or do I "NEED" the 10' ramps? They are significantly more expensive for an extra foot.....

9' ramps should work great! We always recommend the 9' folding ramp from Titan Ramps. These have a perfect rounded frame to get up and over the tailgate to ride directly to the DECKED system.

How much space would be left in a 2019 crew max from the top of the decked unit to the top of the bed rails?

If you look at posts 55,99,112 and others you can see there is about a foot or a little more I think. I can’t get you an exact measurement. Maybe @DECKEDUSA has that data for the Tundra.

I'd love to see a collaboration with BedRug, or something similar, to design a top mat for the Decked unit ... I really liked having the Bedrug in my Tundra - easy on the knees and helps keep cargo in place.

While it 'kinda' fits on top of the Decked unit and works okay, it'd be nice to have the corners fold up for accessing the corner storage, and some material coverage where the wheel well cutouts are.

I agree a million percent. You put any skin on that bad boy in the south in the summer, forget about it.

@DECKEDUSA, how about a bed rug for the top for my sensitive skin?
