I have seen many people hardwire their dash cams to trucks but how do they stuff the cables in the Headliners, pillars and all the way down to fuse box or OBD terminal?? does that not damage the Headliner???

No, the wire is a pretty small gauge, push and tuck with a blunt instrument like a kid’s ikea utensil or pry tool (go the opposite way for fuse box):

There are already wires running to the rear view mirror. Plenty of space left for 2x 18awg

No need to run wires, just splice into the wires already in the overhead console.

That is brilliant, but how would you connect to wires in rear view mirror? Not that i know how to do it but splicing sounds like it would void warranty. The head consol has some plug-ins right behind rear view mirror i always wondered why they don't have like USB plug in for dash cameras. Even the Toyota camera they sell for like 700 bucks has to be hard wired to truck, zero common sense.

This is pretty much exactly how I did it, took all of 10 minutes with a beer break in between.
